    I like it, the sound editing needs work, the last 5 minutes seems like the music track was way too quiet and had a ton of reverb and distortion added to it.

    It is a grain (seed) cleaner. You can find similar wooden machines in museums for agriculture here in Europe. Some modern do not look that different. Some build their own. You have to use paddles to get the seeds moving while producing a constant air flow. The much lighter husks will separate and fly into the ejection chute. If you incorporate a sieve to the end, the result will be better.

    It's Rape seed. Rape seed oil. It's a common cooking oil in parts of China. Older varieties have a low smoke point. It's frequently THE oil of choice in Chile oil or for frying. It has an acquired taste and a pungent aroma.

    Who in his right mind would have come up with such an elaborate process. To plant a plant, let it dry after harvest, smash it with a stick to get the seeds, heat the seeds, smash them in a roller device, take the pulp and make round breads of them and then put the breads in a pressing machine, i mean wth?

    Makes sense oil seed radish is cheap seed and it helps break open your soil. I don't expect a rural farmer in China to be making artisanal olive oil 😂
