Greece also has and kingdoms expecially in Macedonia hepirus and Thrace more earlier in neolithic period but our monarchy is not like the monarchy of the Barbarians in England and in the other places the Greek kingdoms have democratic conunities

Oligarchy is not synonymous with wealth, because it can come in various ways. Oligarchies can be social, ethnic, religious, racial, and even militaristic. For an example. Burma has an oligarchic form of government. But it's not based on wealth. It's actually based on militarism.

There's a lot of misinformation here. I understand you probably are simplifying this to the Nth degree to keep it short and bite-sized, but the way you phrase things (tyranny is NOT another word for dictatorship) is misleading. The very fact that you spend time talking about tyranny as if it's a form of government, in a short video designed to talk about government, is odd to me. Tyranny isn't a form of government at all, it's a descriptive term for a style of governing.

Thank you for your insights. Yes I am simplifying the content for school children and people who want a brief overview. A synonym, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, for “tyranny” is in fact “dictatorship” Also there is no misinformation as the definition for that word includes the deliberate act to deceive. I am not doing this. The four types of ancient Greek government were indeed monarchy, oligarchy, tyranny and democracy according to the state curriculum and various textbooks. I appreciate you watching the video and helping me improve it.

Greek literacy is a historical forgery The Greeks say TO BIBLIO for a book and TO TETRADIO for a notebook. But these words have nothing to do with reading and writing.Byblos is just the name of the city. It is a city where writing depth was sold. Writing depth called BUKVA...From BUKVA come English word BOOK and German,s word BUCH...Other goods were sold there, as in every trading town. When the Greeks saw a bandage of several beech bark or a bandage of pressed papyrus, the Greeks realized that it could be obtained in the city of Byblos. That is how the Greeks recognize the book, but they cannot use it because they are illiterate Asians. The Greeks see the book and say "biblos". Later, the monks of the city of Byblos made a noun of the middle genus TO BIBLIO. The word BIBLE originated in the plural of several biblos. TA BIBLIA. TETRADIO(the Notebook) It is something square or rectangular in shape. The Greeks saw that the notebook was square and say TETRADIO as a tetrahedron but they could not use it because they were illiterate. These terms irrefutably prove it. Like when someone buy a watch in Salisbury. What time is it? Wait till I look in Salisbury !!! The Greek language and concepts related to reading and literacy irrefutably prove that the Greeks were illiterate people from Asia. facebook.com/photo?fbid=1367163824101723&set=p.1367163824101723

GREEK LITERACY DOES NOT EXIST! If there is Greek literacy then there must also be Danish and Norwegian and Swedish and Feanian and German and Croatian ..etc..literacy. There is no such thing! The Latin alphabet is simply adapted for the languages of these European nations. The same goes for the Greeks... The literacy of some cultured and smart people is ADAPTED for the Greeks! That's why the Greeks must have a marked accent, rules for reading and other aids for their mother tongue.

The Greek world was divided into city states and kingdoms such as Macedonia, Sparta, Athens, Corinth, Miletus, Syracuse etc with shifting alliances depending on the political situation and interest of each polis and kingdom. The Hellenic world shared a common culture, religion and language. Please do not misinform people with your fake revisionist nonsense here. All this research is based on history textbooks that are peer reviewed by a team of professors and leading universities. This information is not my opinion.

@@makedon284 I politely suggest you read a textbook or take a course. The internet is filled with ignorant troublemakers who don’t know what they are talking about and spread misinformation. All this information is based on textbooks. The Macedonians spread Hellenic Culture throughout the known world, just as Greek colonists did all over the Mediterranean world before them.
