Ancient City Bangkok | Mueang boran | Bangkok Tour Guide 2022 | 🇹🇭 4K

Ancient Siam aka Ancient City Bangkok or also known as mueang boran, is an unique outdoor park museum, featuring replicas of the county’s significant historic architecture and monuments from various parts of Thailand. The magnificent park is in the shape of the map of Thailand spread in 240 Acres.
Getting there is very easy as it’s in Bangkok. The Best way to visit there is by Sky train. You can ride the Sukhumvit line up to last station Kheha. And take a short taxi ride to Ancient City mueang which will take only 8 to 10 munities. The taxi will drop you at the ticket counter.
Each ticket to the ancient city will cost you 700 Baht for adult and 350 for Kids. Outside the counter you will find Audio center from where you can get audio guide which is available in different languages. Ancient city is a large open sky museum which is nearly impossible to explore walking. But thanks to them, they have various options for you to move around. They have golf cars, which you can rent to roam around. An hour rent will cost you 350 baht for a 4-seater and 500 for a 6. Other than that, you will have free Tram which will roam all around.
You can download the maps with QR code there. The map is in both English and Thai and have all details. It will help you explore the whole area.
Now let me show you the major attractions there…
Starting with the Golf car just before entering the main entrance of Ancient city you will get to see the Buddhavas of Anatta University. It’s a beautiful building, which is worth taking photo of.
Visiting the ancient city is like being in a little kingdom. Throughout the musume you will have total hundred and sixteen attractions. You will find magnificent buildings, some of them were destroyed and restored, some of them are full size replicas and some scaled down versions, Historic temples & palaces, a floating market and many more.

The first and one of the most popular is, the Pavilion of the Enlightened. Golden pavilions on a pond filled with Buddha and monk statues inside. The Pavilion symbolizes the story of 500 monks from different cultural backgrounds.
Next you get to see the Fish Temple or Sumeru Mountain. They belief this fish supports the sumeru mountain.
Then there is Sanphet Prasat Palace in Ayutthaya which was burnt to the ground in 1767 when the Burmese destroyed the city. Only the brick base of the palace remains today. This replica was reconstructed based on archeological and historical records. The inside parts of the palace is also very beautiful
Just on the other side you will get to see the Dusit Maha Prasat Palace, it is originally situated in the Grand palace which was built in 1806 in the reign of King Rama the One.
The Ancient city also consists of creative designs to represent religious concepts and beliefs of the thai. If you have time, check out the sculpture to the right of the attraction called Performing a Miracle.
Unless you are in Thailand on special days, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll ever see a royal barge procession. But luckily, you won’t need to wait for any occasion. Ancient city brings The Royal Water-Course Procession for you.
Next you see Sala of Ramayana. This is Thai tradition to make public building and places.
You will get to see the Phimai stone sanctuary which is located in Phimai district.
