All those protection is fine as long as competition isn't ruled based on light contacts but rather serious cuts and stabs that would have ended a fight had it broke through the armor or if someone is down and unable to protect themselves for a finishing attack. Reason being no "real" sword fight will be two people in tshirts in any context.

Wushu Taolu practitioners sometime fooled themselves thinking they're practicing a fighting art rather than a dance art

這選手太業餘了，直接把太極劍用成大砍刀了，劍法所有的招式都是爲了刺，他直接刀魔上身了，根本就不懂怎麽用劍。

剑道和兵击是两种东西，你让日本的剑道穿上兵击的护具都不一定能够方便的移动

No NO NO NOOO Focus on hitting the person and not the sword. Parry, the shoulder strike when up close.

一个外行人都可以，很明显的看出区别，蓝方的太刀有非多刀举过头顶纵步向前的竖劈，红方就更杂一些。红方到底学的是日本剑道还是什么的？我不太了解，但还是和蓝方的打法有很大的区别

红方选手也有一些纵劈的动作，但是你可以看他的角度并不是蓝方一样垂直的

你可以去对比蓝方选手，每次主动进攻时的起手位置和脚步以及日本剑道里的第一式。里头有一些动作和打法以及武器嘟嘟按照历史和现实中真正的太刀和八卦剑搞的
