Anchorvale Village - Singapore's newest mall at Sengkang.
Singapore's newest mall and lifestyle destination has opened in Sengkang. Anchorvale Village is a new generation neighbourhood centre with 3 levels of retail spaces, restaurants, enrichment centres, a Hawker Centre and a NTUC Supermarket. This new neighbourhood mall is located near Farmway LRT Station and just across the road from Sengkanf Swimming Complex. A soft launch was held on 18 May 2024. Let's have a quick tour of this mall.

Seletar Mall and CompassOne Mall are big malls catering to the masses. Anchorvale Village is small by comparison. It caters to residents of the area and is a 10-minute walk or 3-minute cycle from my home in Sengkang. It's a welcomed addition to the area. The Farmway LRT makes it convenient for people to eat and shop here. It's a harmonious charm as you described 😀. I am now in Bangkok on a short work assignment.
Singaporean people must spend a big part of their lives shopping, I think, to keep all of the amazing shopping facilities busy. And there are so many food outlets that I guess a lot of people never bother to cook at home!

Singaporeans are spoilt for choices. There are so many activities and events happening every month. Smaller new malls and hawker centres like this one are being built in the neighbourhoods. And these are usually crowded. Yes you are right, people don't need to cook at home if they are busy... or lazy.

There's a hawker centre that's not opened yet on the 2nd floor and a playground on the 3rd floor roof. I will share these when they are opened 😀

I am also looking forward to the opening of the Hawker Centre. It's a 10-minute walk from my home in Sengkang. I need the food and the exercise!

Many shops are still under construction and this mall is already so busy. It will be even more busy when the hawker centre on the 2nd floor and the kids playground on the roof are open. Replying to you from Bangkok 😀

It's at Sengkang, Farmway LRT station. A smallish mall in the neighbourhood. There's a playground on the roof and a Hawker Centre that's not opened yet.
