I loved Mort Crim as a kid glad to know he had a sense of humor about himself.

At 0:47 I love how he introduces both himself and Jessica Savitch instead of letting her say her own name. Absolutely hilarious. I'm glad he was able to change his outlook and look back in laughter.

Eventually Jessica became more popular than Crim was and therefore all that changed. She was a ratings juggernaut in Philly.

Mort Crim is religion here in Detroit but you also need to look up Bill Bonds she wants challenge as a time are Coleman Young to a boxing match

Pretty sure Ferrell is confusing Mort Crim with Bill Bonds. Crim was pretty mild. Bill Bonds is 100% Ron Burgundy. The most famous anchorman in Detroit history.
