It's really started to grow on me. For pure power, the rp4p is great. But there is something about the bigger screen and grips that makes the rg556 a great device

I have this and rp4 pro, still prefer the rp4 pro ftw!

did you have loose springs in your triggers on your RP4 pro?

I have a powerful phone but cannot run medal of honor euro assault on it, could you test it on this handheld for us

I tried NBA live 2004 and it works just fine at 1.25x.. no problems

Try to play in 4:3 aspect ratio, you’ll see much better performance, because 6th generation consoles games mostly have 4:3 ratio.

Yeah you could play at 4:3 but what is the fun in that with a nice beautiful 16:9 screen?

RG556 has an AMOLED display and I think 4:3 don’t be so annoying because you will not see that black borders. I also playing all games till 6th gen consoles in native ratio on my Steam Deck OLED. And it looks more authentic😉

I tried the first 30 minutes of warrior within and two thrones and both ran fine with no issues at 1.75x. both were PAL versions but they seem pretty easy to emulate so ntsc version should run fine as well

In terms of pure performance rp4p is best, rg556 is 2nd and odin 1 is last. If you are new to emulation in Android, go with the rp4p as most will just play without a bunch of tweaking. Anbernic has the better screen and ergonomics and can play most games as rp4p but at lower resolution. Odin 1 is probably going to leave you wishing you got something more powerful.. it can play PS2 and GC but lots of games need tweaking and messing with settings

European version of the game. Pal roms run at 50hz rather than 60hz as in North America

For the "don't bother" games, the emulation speed regularly stays below 100%. Burnout as an example only ever plays at 70% speed which is technically playable but no way near the actual speed the game would normally play at. It's like playing the game in slo mo
