Here's Dragon Quest 8, a classic PS2-era JRPG. This is another game that's often been difficult for lower-powered systems to emulate. How does the new Anbernic RG556 fare on this title?
Like Rogue Galaxy, you can make the game work on 1X resolution and it's playable. I noticed lag every now and then (and I think you can see a little of it in this video), but it's not like some of the last generation of emulation handhelds that just couldn't keep up with the game at all.
I've put the emulator settings at the end of the video as usual with my PS2 recordings.
Any out-of-sync audio here is the fault of the capture card - in-game I don't detect any audio lag.
