Idk why some people make a big deal on how someone pronounces words. The way you said monitor, sounded right. I have a very very deep southern accent and if those people who have a problem with how you pronounce a word, they would probably lose their sh*t hearing the way I talk if I was reviewing those instead of you. I didn't get around to watching this review until now. It was definitely a quality review that was worth watching. I thank you for making it. I thought I saw the Bandai WonderSwan listed as an included system. It flaunted the same TATE party trick as this Anbernic. Quite a few Swan games were designed to be played vertically. "Tetris" was one of them and it's actually quite good on the system. The Swan was a widescreen-ish system (14:9, IIRC) so the games are going to be slightly squished or slightly letterboxed no matter how you rotate the screen. But, if you're bored then it's something to try out, I guess. I don't own one of these micro Anbernic 28s yet; but, I think they're cool. I keep waffling about if they're cool enough for the money. There's a lot of great options at this price point; however, other than the A30 and that one TrimUI that kinda looks like a WiFi hotspot none of them are going to as effortlessly disappear into a pocket when out and about. Then again, does that matter? I'm a man who wears Levi's, store brand knockoffs of Levi's and Wranglers, or Dockers depending on where he's going. There's no skinny jeans in this locality. I think it's cool to have something the size of an MP3 player that I can stick in my pocket and retro game. But; I don't know if it's cool enough to drop $50 on when there's other systems that offer markedly bigger screens and more features for not a lot more money - or in some cases less money - while on paper still being very petite and pocketable. The R36S that you built this channel on comes to mind. The obvious answer to my conundrum is to pick up a GB300 or SF2000 plus a Samsung 3500mAh replacement 18650 cell. Obviously.

No worries. I really appreciate your comments. They’re always interesting and informative. Now I want to spend some time experimenting with WonderSwan. I’m right there with you on the jeans preference although everything is available here in LA.. No skinny jeans for me though, thanks. A GB300 or SF2000 with a quality 18650 isn’t a bad choice IMO. I have some giveaways coming up for a couple R36S, SF2000, GB300, etc. and as of now you’re one of my brightest shining subs, so maybe hold out for another month or so. ;) I also have the A30 coming, although it seems there’s a lot of disappointment concerning it. A 2.8” screen is pretty small for my aging eyes as well. That extra .2” actually makes a difference for me. I can’t play on a screen smaller than 3” for very long, and probably shouldn’t anyway. The RG Nano, FunKey S, Q36 are fun gimmicks for me, but not practical at all… Anyway man, thanks again for taking the time to watch. See you on the next one!

They have settings to where you can have the dpad act as a joystick for n64 games.

Id like to see a video comparing the 35xx H to the old 351p .. id like to know the real difference in performance as the 351p could play some N64

I think the performance could be compared to an R36S. I don’t have the RG351P, but IIRC the R36S is a clone of many others that originated from the 351p. The 35xxH can also run some N64 and feels pretty similar in terms of performance.

There is no screen protector for the 28XX brother

Has anyone experienced rg28xx screen fluttering? When i play a video with it, there are lines in the screen and when I'm playing a game, the screen will do like a scanning artifact like an old TV.

Sounds like your card might be going bad. It’s not happening on mine, but I’ve experienced similar issues on other handhelds before the stock card went out on me

I have a pristine GameBoy Micro in storage. I haven’t seen it in 15 years. I plan to retrieve it and a lot of other retro gaming stuff real soon.

I noticed your hands were a little shaky - mine are too. Try doing hand pushups, like with your fingers as your "arms" and your palm as the "body" while putting a little weight into it. Just whenever you're just sitting at your desk etc. really helped me when someone told me to try it after shaking up a laser pointer in a biz meeting, totally helps

It’s grown on me really quickly. You’re right about that. Two tone orange on orange with the buttons would’ve looked really nice. I like the white/orange colorway, but the more I think about it, the white grip would’ve been overkill.
