Quoting wikipedia here: "However, citing difficulties as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anathema announced an indefinite hiatus on 22 September 2020." However hard this may suck, it totally looks like they're putting the band on hold because of these crazy times, rather than splitting up for good. Don't lose hope, mate.

It hurt my heart so much when I saw the post on FB announcing it. I went and bought a t-shirt hoping it would help a little. I never had the chance to see them live, and I really hope at some point they do a concert somewhere again!!

@@Clairevoyante Not trying to gloat but I have seen them in UK and Holland, about 3 years ago. Lee Douglas is one of the most unknown and best singers of modern times. I'm sure they will continue under the name Anathema at some point. They're not all that old. Loads more music in them.

Such a transformation from 1993 when I first heard the band “Serenades” with growling vocals but even then they had something new and original in their sound and music which gave this amazing flow of sincerity. Thank you guys!

I've been absolutely lucky to be in the Paris show from this late WHBWH 10 years tour. The show was simply amazing but the crowd was the best, we sing the ending part of Untouchable for an encore and Daniel tape it in his drum cam, we keep singing it till the streets when the show was over.
