Beautiful... I bought the Crestfallen EP on the basis of Everwake, and this version just brings it all back, how good they are.. had no idea in 92 how much these guys were going to change and evolve their sound but am so glad they did.

Way better singing on this version... shame about the quality.

I love both Anathema and Anneke but this is not a song for Anneke's voice. She's a different kind of angel, sweet but not ethereal. Well... let's pretend I never heard this version of Everwake. The original one is sooooo much better and I will always hear that original one in my soul.
