I notice at the ending of the tape the scientist says “wether those beneath us understand it or not.” Most likely referring to the children beneath the scientist portrayed in the painting that I’m guessing, suffered the consequences of the scientist experiments that would not be able to understand why or what had happened to them.

I think it’s just a God complex and not this. Being too literal would just make it weird.

Why would we want to escape the factory? We came here for something. Did seeing Huggy scare us that badly that we want to leave? If this is true, it means our character had no clue of anything going on in the factory. He might just be completely innocent--so then why would he be called back? Maybe we are trying to escape, or maybe we want to power up the train for another reason, though that seems doubtful from the information we were given.

Poppy Playtime haven't done everything right but they know how to hype something up and give us JUST enough information for us to theorize a lot but still leave us stumped. Its a really good good, I'm very excited for Chapter 2, and I'm praying that don't ruin this good thing.

The big thing I think this reveals is that the giant living toy characters were public knowledge. It wasn't a Toy Story thing where they had to remain still when visitors/most employees were looking but could become animated when it was just the researchers and special employees.

Just so everyone knows, the signature in the bottom left is the artists, they confirmed it on Tericho's channel!

Whenever i see him do a teaser analysis, it always impressed me how he managed to make a theory talk when the image just got released

7:45 The scientist referred to 1006 as a male by saying "coordination and cooperation is evidentally within [his] skillset" so it's likely not Monmy Longlegs.

You say that the area with the playground is open to the public and parent can bring their kids there, and maybe thats true, or it could be a daycare. But I'm more leaning in on the idea that all of the children are the orphans we learned about from a poster in Chapter 1. This theory has some merit--there are not adults and/or parents in sight (except for the scientists watching them from above, but that's not exactly what I mean), and all of the kids seem to look like they've come from all different corners of the world. When the first few images came out I suspected that they scientists were watching the children, but if that Mommy Long Legs we see isn't just a statue and is really alive, then the scientists were probably watching her. Maybe they were using the children as test subjects, putting them in areas with the toys and seeing if they would hurt anyone before they opened up their toys to the public. Another reason I don't think it is a daycare or area for people to visit (at least at this time) is: what parent would walk in, see a living doll, and stay like everything's normal! If our protagonists was so surprised and scared after seeing Huggy to the point of wanted to escape on the train in the next Chapter, that means the living toy thing was never released into the public. No one knew. If they let in the parents and they saw Mommy, word would spread and Playtime Co. would probably be shut down and the scientists arrested. You can argue that the parents never get on the train outside the factory, and they leave their kids outside and only the kids go on the train, like something outta Hogwarts--but that still means that they are putting other peoples kids in danger of being hurt by the experiments. Parents would know something id up if their kids don't come back and Playtime Co. would be investigated. That's why I think they are using orphans--much easier to keep quiet if one of two go missing...

I'm inclined to agree with the theory that these children are all orphans, mainly because it seemed Funtime Co. were awfully eager for their workers to adopt orphaned children. While on the surface, it's a "Look at us! We're so thoughtful and kind!" publicity stunt, it gives them easy, no-questons-asked-if-you-want-keep-your-jobs access to children to use as test subjects. Also, "What parent would walk in, see a living doll and stay like everything is normal!" Seems logic fails a lot of parents in these kinds of horror games, just look at the Daycare in Security Breach...

XD But yeah, the only reasons I can see for leaving your kid in that kind of situation is either A) You're not the smartest, B) You just don't care, or C) You're as good a parent as William Afton was.

When you think about it, you do start to notice how a lot of horror games such as First Encounter Assault Recon (better known as F.E.A.R.), Resident Evil, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Poppy Playtime, The Last Door, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, Dark Deception, Andy’s Apple Farm, and Five Nights at Freddy’s (to a certain extent) all seem to share a common plot element. That element involves either an individual, group of people, or a company causing the original problem because against better judgment and through their own hubris, they either start messing around with something that really should have left alone (The Last Door, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Andy’s Apple Farm, Dark Deception) or performing experiments that should never have been given the green light in the first place because there are too many things that can go wrong (F.E.A.R., Resident Evil, Poppy Playtime, Happy’s Humble Burger Farm) only for the law of unintended consequences to rear its ugly head with disastrous yet all too predictable results, which not only causes harm to them but also everyone else unlucky enough to be caught in the middle, thus kicking off the conflict in the story. I guess in a way it kind of circles back to Frankenstein, where the main character causes the original problem because he started to delve into something he should not have which ultimately ends in an outcome that he did not intend nor want.

If the train does indeed offer “a straight shot out of the factory,” I think the chapter might end similarly to how the second chapter of Bendy and the Ink Machine ended, where we work all chapter to open our exit strategy, only to get ambushed and remain trapped deeper within the building.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. Either we get it started and we end up traped deeper in the factory like BATIM chapter 3, or we get it started only for Mommy to snatch us away before we can get on and it puffs away and it turns up at the VERY end of the game after the final boss battle as our exit out of the factory

I'm thinking the mascot for Musical Memory is going to be Bonzo Bunny, based on the fact that the character in the drawing looks very bunny-like. Also, the rabbit has a pair of crashing cymbals on the ends of his ears, so I'm very excited to see what that'll look right

I feel like we'll use the train to get around and play Mommy's game and try to escape at the end but only to fail and crash or something and the start of chapter 3 begins

Huggy Wuggy is exp 1006 since in one of the death scenes, it says "exp 1006, isn't he wonderful?" It couldn't be referring to any other toy since Huggy is the only one there.

Just like to point out that they missed their deadline. The early months of the year consist of January, February, March, and April.

I'm still convinced Subject 1006 is the player character, if only because it seems 1006 might have managed to escape the factory. If we assume that the tape that mentions him is made during...whatever happened to shut the place down (which I'm not entirely sure it did), then the phrasing suggests 1006 is long gone and that perhaps it was his escape that caused everything to go to hell. I think 1006 cooperated with the other experiments, such as Huggy and Mommy Longlegs, in order to stage the escape, resulting in the carnage we hear in the last tape. I know one of the death screens makes it seem like 1006 is Huggy, and at the moment, there's no real evidence to suggest either way. However, given what little we have actually seen of Huggy, he seems more animalistic than anything, more of an ambush predator type than anything else, whereas the tape suggest 1006 is much smarter, capable of "coordination and cooperation". Granted, so are the "others" of his type, and given I don't think we have seen the last of Huggy Wuggy, that might be shown in a later chapter, particularly when Kissy Missy makes her debut. But there's also one other thing - Why the protag? Why draw them specifically back to the factory? I know it's implied to be because we're a former employee....but that in itself raises questions. What role exactly did we have? Did we leave/lose our job before the fuckening? If so, what makes us important enough to drag back in? Is it purely because we worked at the place, no other reason? Or is there some other link we have, if we are indeed a normal human? But if we DIDN'T lose our job before it....why were we not at the factory when the fuckening happened? Also, I'm not entirely sure that the Mommy Longlegs in the image is the ACTUAL entity and might be a cardboard cutout type thing. Although, given Funtime Co. apparently took their lessons straight from the Fazbear Entertainment manual, letting a giant pink abomination with stretchy limbs wander freely amongst children is probably not too far out of the realm of possibility.

That is true since, when we play the game, we (the player) are VERY short. Like we're half the size of the crowd control barriers and need to hop over them. Even shorter when we get the grabpack later as we kind of crouch under the weight

Good theory but I'm not convince that the protagonist is Exp. 1006 and sure there are evidence about it but I believe Exp. 1006 is somebody else and we may not see him but we will hear much about him and is way worse than all the others we're gonna meet in future chapters and I think he will show up in the last chapter.

You know I always thought that the "needle hand" was a metaphor for experiment 1006, since he could have tinkered with the other 'toys' to make them go rouge, you know like restitching a broken doll using a different doll part type of thing.

Mommy long legs is obviously named after the ‘daddy long legs’, which is similar to a spider, but isn’t technically a spider. So maybe, 1006 would have been named ‘daddy long legs’

I have a theory on the end of chapter 2. I think that the main objective of this character is to fix the train to get it running. By playing mommy's games you get closer and closer to getting the train up and running . When you finish the last game poppy tells you to head to the train. Thinking the coast is clear you start the train to leave. Then you hear Mommy say something like " new friend don't leave yet " or something like that as the train starts to pull away. I think there will be an escape sequence on the train to get away from mommy. When finally defending her the track completely collapses with the player having to use the green hand to save yourself and poppy. Or something like that. Also love the video and keep up the great work .

I’ve just had a thought! So at 8:00, the writing on the floor says ‘Make me part of him’, and it was theorised in a previous video that this might have been Mommy wanting to become ‘part of’ the player, since they have similar ‘arms’ (in quotations because the players arms are the grab pack. Also, forgive me if any info about the previous vid is incorrect since I didn’t watch that video before commenting, but I believe it’s the general jist) and I just had a thought after seeing this video. What if Mommy isn’t referring to the player, but to Experiment 1006? 1006 is referred to as a He, like the writing on the floor, and as evidenced from the video tape, he’s pretty strong, and seemingly smart too (based on what the guy says in the tape). What if Mommy wants to be stronger, and thus wants to be part of experiment 1006? (I apologise if any of this theory can be disproven, because I typed it quickly since I didnt want to forget, and haven’t double checked I have everything right. I just wanted to get my thoughts wrote down, and I’ll edit later if there’s anything I missed)

The player uses a grabpack which is used to reach far and high places rerout power and quickly move around (my personal observationtion) which iswhy the "arms" are so similar, it is because the arms aren't actualy the palyer character's arms. We don't even know what the player character looks like

I have to wonder tho, in the picture of the game station, the top left corner is covered up by the train smoke. It has to be intentional, and I'm sure the player will find something interesting if they look there...or not :p Could be that they were just using it to better frame the train, the whole thing is super detailed, love the colors and overall layout. The dev team really put a lot of thought into everything, so I hope they can finish it to the best of their abilities, however long it takes :D

Yeah that doesn’t make sense why Mike said that. For one, we want to help the workers despite how difficult it would be and 2, I don’t think we can get out of there so easily. We’re so far underground we are potentially lost

That claw can also be seen on a big wall at the first wire puzzle in the breaker room right next to the start point with a lighting update that was released a few months ago it can be seen more clearly and with the words "wonderful" next to it, someone else theorized that this claw is representing 1006 but may NOT be huggy wuggy but a completely different monster entirely one that we have yet to see.

The idea of MLL being Exp. 1006 can be slightly dispersed due to the fact that the line "Exp. 1006. Isn't he wonderful?" Originates specifically from when Huggy Wuggy kills right? Because if Huggy Wuggy killed us and it says that wouldn't it be signifying him?

i have a theory what if in the next few chapters... we get introduced to more characters. Remember this is a toy factory and we may be getting more chapters in the mere. Also the Date "May 10th" could be the confirmed release date. Also Prototype 1006 could be Huggy Wuggy and here's why, Huggy was not seen the entire time in chapter 1 until he made a toy which opened the door. After we as the player opened the door we got close to the dark area he comes out of, which makes me think he saw the player and chased us. BUT remember how he said 1006 was loose and went hostile attacking and killing others? Huggy has sharp teeth and from what i know was not contained. Now this is just a theory but it could be true.

I wonder who Experiment 1006 is. It isn't Huggy because he was present during the recording even though 1006 went missing. And it can't be Mommy Longlegs cause the tape says 1006 is a "he" and she was probably also present during the killing. 1006 straight up left the building or hid himself really well. It could be the player or it could be something horrific

Odd comment, I know, but to me the whole image is giving me some WWII POW camp vibes. In my mind, the playground is just to keep the kids contempt until the train arrives, keep them from leaving some other way. Then the train comes and takes them away to somewhere that definitely isn't outside, best guess is some lab where Huggy and Mommy were created. The scientists in the walkway, in the watchtower, and the ring of security cameras below the tower are what really paint this morbid picture for me.

There's a game I found on the PS4 and 5 called Angels of Death, thought you or someone really may like it, and it does include blood, strong language and violence

Could be maybe the way that is draw, but on the ground of the playground I only see kids, like no Adult, it might be the orphans or could be kids that are being “chosen” to became another experiment.

The signature in the bottom left is that of the person who won the concept art competition - the Artist is called "Whitney Miller" and you can find them on youtube, they commented on Terichos video about the first piece of the picture, when it released. Hope this helps 😊😊

Yeah, that makes sense. Artists tend to sign their work in the bottom corners, not the top.
