HOnestly, my favorite thing about Mommy Long Legs was her programming to look at the player CONSTANTLY. There wasn't a specific spot the player had to stand for her to look at you during a cutscene. Really upped her creep factor

I actually think it’s a good way of soldyifying her as an ally to the player as I feel like her increasing ‘choo choo!’ Is symbolism for her saying get out and obviously she’s saying it faster and faster because the need to get out increases as the player continues playing

What's terrifying about the experiments is the fact that they would constantly escape containment and then just move about Playtime Co. Scaring and, possibly, killing the employees

I love how the devs put a little bit of foreshadowing with kissy missys cutout, she gets more aggressive when she’s saying “choochoo” referring to the end of the chapter when we are riding the train and can’t brake

It is worth noting that the line “To be or not to be, that is the question” is from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, in which the main character contemplates the meaning of life and existence. Very interesting with the context of a main character who may wish for death but cannot seem to die, yes?

Listening back to her audio when you turn on the grinder she says "he'll make me part of him" it's interesting with there's the messages saying the prototype is the salvation. Yet she doesn't seem at all happy by the notion to become part of it. Gonna be real interesting to see where the plot goes from here

@@HCRBerhan I noticed that the train station intercom Mommy and monster Mommy have different pitches. Intercom sounds like how a typical mother would, while Monster sounds mainlu like a woman who's vocal chords and physique never grew so she has to compensate with the line delivery, letting out exasperated and dissapointed deep groans, and at the end a crazed low pitch of a big woman wailing.

I love the idea that the Catbee cutout possibly being a foreshadow to Catbee potentially being an ally, since it’s trying to warn us by telling us “you need to get out of here”

So we all know that when poppy was taken,she was taken down a hole and that hole lead to a slide. If yall turn around and look above the slide,there is names labeled on top the slides. If u noticed at the right side, there is a dark corner. The dark corner was originally a slide but it was blocked off. On the floor of the dark corner,there are words scrambled on the floor. It was originally a name of someone. It could be a name of someone important. Hope this could be something important for your theories :D

I gotta say, Michael Kovach has an amazing vocal range. I never would have been able to tell 10:04 and 24:52 were the same person, not to mention as well as all the other characters he voices. (Some other characters he voices include Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, Niles and SMG0 from SMG4, N from Murder Drones, and Darly Boxman from The Darly Boxman Show)

the cuttout of cat Bee is the freakiest one in this chapter. the way she says to the player that he/she should escape is unsettling

Did anyone else notice the Boogie Bot cutout says "the button hurts me" right before it turns to garbled nonsense? Tbh, that and what happens if you keep playing with the button on Candy Cat is the most unsettling with Catbee bringing up the rear because of the possible implications o.o;

I truly enjoy seein ppl like Jacksepticeye in these types of games. Really brings out some real life entertainment into these things 😎

something creeps me out in Makayla's Statues test . the fact that the scientists conducted her test was unable to finish their logs in the stage 3 (Statues) makes me wonder that theyre attacked before they could finish it

fun fact about bron's cut out! while shb wasn't able to get all the voice lines, after a few dorky dad jokes bron asks "who's the most dangerous dinosaur?" and in reply he says "ME." no punchline or anything but makes the bron statues 100% more sus and makes u feel more unnerved walking around down there

Theory, the reason some of the cut outs don’t have voice lines or are missing some is because the living versions have them, that’s why long legs cut out has no lines, because she’s talking perfectly, and when you crush her, it makes a similar scratchy sound to that of when you play her cut out

@@ProjjectDelta. You typically can't because you are situated behind the main area when you input the train codes. So unless you hack your way over there, I believe it is impossible to get back over to the cutout

My theory is that the prototype is not Ludwig, but instead the guy that got demoted to the island with the misfit toys. Because we know that mommy long legs was not friendly to begin with, she was likely on that island that the guy that got demoted secretly brought mommy long legs to the factory for revenge, which is why the other employees knew nothing about her. It explains why the game went through the trouble of making his tapes. Not just to show the bad factory conditions but also to introduce a character that holds a grudge against the factory. The prototype couldn’t be Ludwig like people are saying because we know by the Jacksepticeye tape that the prototype was present while the factory was still running and employees were still working there, meaning Ludwig should have been most likely present too or else who would be running the factory? My guess is the demoted guy found out that you could live a very long life or be immortal by becoming a toy, so he turned himself into one and began killing employees (which is why we see the human bones as the arms). Things got out of control and to protect Poppy, Ludwig put her in that house and glass case and hung animals + wrote messages to scare any toys away. My guess is Ludwig escaped the factory / hid out in the factory until his death, or is still hiding out, and he and the other employees were the ones who sent the letter, maybe eating the toys for food (since the toys are bloody they’re probably made of meat..?). But the only question I have is how did they get to the post office to send the letter?

I believe this how the cutouts fit into my lore of characters: Huggy Wuggy- started off normal before eventually entering current form Kissy Missy- maybe they had higher intelligence than Huggy Wuggy experiments thus leading them to trying to warn people of accidents they predicted (her making the train noise faster after as you pressed the button) Mommy long legs- pretty much same a Huggy Wuggy except for having trouble speaking at first I guess Bunzo- probably most obedient one with powers, knew data of people despite not being told the data Bron & daisy- went perfectly nothing happened to them Candy cat- was normal but had a eating problem, they wanted to stop but couldn't. Maybe sometimes they ate so much they: Vomited (what we hear at the end) popped (I mean guts everywhere cause the toy stomach works differently), and we hear a combination the first and second possible explanations to the sound (fuzzy audio near the end is from either the vomit or the inards). P.J Caterpillar- Same as Huggy Wuggy Cat bee- slowly became aware of situation but was oppressed enough to not go rouge Boogy Bot- Using it would hurt it then would get rouge after enough pain

@@lilmsproper12I think for Candy Cat it could allude to her being force fed. Even if she initially asked to be fed more candy, beyond that it was forcefully fed to her to the point.. yeah, she could've had food poisoning or worse

Candy-cats cut out was definitely the most disturbing. It gives me chills just thinking about it.

Especially when you look at the design of the candy cat toys that you see once or twice in the factory. It looks like there’s a hatch in the back of the toy, so I’m guessing either you feed him til he bursts, kinda like the game Pop The Pig, or you feed him and then later take the toy candy pieces out so you can feed him again and again.

The “assigned toy” part of the notes about the tests reminds me of the machine where kids make their own toys in chapter 1. You open the door with one and a sign says “No one leaves without a toy,” which, after learning that Playtime is testing the children, turns much darker and more connected to the plot than a simple excuse for why we need to make a toy to exit the room. They were forcing children to do this, which is horrible to think about. Even worse is the scanner where you scan a Bunzo toy in chapter 2 at the water treatment area, implying that some of the employees were forced to carry toys as well. I like how this game is sort of exploring the process behind the experiments and how it’s involved with so much of the facility instead of being very vague with how it’s done and constantly teasing why the whole time.

9:55 Really like that they committed to using and expanding existing characters for this chapter, a lot of indie games have interesting side characters for worldbuilding but only use a few of them consistently and drop the rest while also adding way more characters to add an appearance of depth through abundance but do nothing with them, making them and the lore fit awkwardly.

Chapter 2 was definitely an improvement over chapter 1. Like chapter 1 was basically a beta testing chapter and chapter 2 is what the game is fully developed and it was so good and creepy.

@@cow167 personally, yes keep a 4 year old away from that. But loving horror isn't really a concerning thing, I've been loving horror for years since I was really young. It hasn't effected me in any negative way, I've just become more cautious in a good way oddly as in knowing not to go through dark alleys, not to trust random strangers, and not going to abandoned buildings basic "don't be a dumba*s" stuff that teachers couldn't inforce. Also for the reason, it could be for the adrenaline rush or for puzzle aspects as to why she may like it. I mean that was always why I did. Though I will say I am the same way with my little sister who loves horror and poppy playtime too.

Jacksepticeye in other worlds has some really dangerous jobs.

10:55 The Candy Cat cutout, although creepy, kinda amuses me because it reminds me of that scene in Wreck-It-Ralph 2, where Ralph and Vanellope break into the iPad game of a little girl and proceed to feed the bunny character way too many pancakes. It is implied that the bunny character explodes from overeating because Ralph feeds it too many pancakes too quickly. This video was very satisfying to me, seeing every last thing being collected, even the notes.👍👍

1) The Kissy Missy cutout sounds like Stella. 2) The claw has a human bone on its arm which makes me believe that Elliot Ludwig did some grave digging to utilize part of his lost loved one. 3) Catbee saying to leave the place. She sounded like Poppy so maybe there was a set of twins used for experimentation. 4) The eyes of the antagonist toys are really blown. When Mommy starts the countdown for hide and seek they change from normal sized green to big black eyes. It also signifies when she started making the wailing noises. Someone or something is controlling them. Most likely by remote access or mentally. It could be 1006 or Poppy, though Poppy seems like she is an anti-hero. She wants to set things right but seems to follow through with manipulation as that's all she knows.

To add to the second point, it's noted that the prototype has the skill to assemble parts from other objects/beings, and had killed someone. So I don't think Ludwig went digging, but we know what happened to the security guard that got trapped with it

@@Kyolover8 I'm just saying that they sound similar. The voice could just be a way to throw us off. Maybe the Stella voice actor couldn't do a Kissy Missy impression. We don't know exactly what the experiment changed. If it can change appearances then it can change a voice.

Why do I have the feeling that the four main smaller toys are going to be allies. Especially with catbees dialogue on escaping.

4:09 I puzzled together some of the lines from this cut out, and I have 5 I think works "Hello children" "Welcome to the game station" "Have fun on the train" "Cheating is not allowed" "I... Will... Get... You ..." I can this is just speculation, not the actual lines.

I think the voice lines for each of the cutouts are clues to how you will interact with the characters. Bron is probably blind, or will end up blind, in a stealth game where you have to keep quiet as he hunts you. Candy cat will act as more of a stationary enemy with a super long tongue trying to snatch up anyone in its area and you're going to have overfeed him/her to beat them. Cat-Bee is probably a horde of cat-bee toys with poison stingers you have to outrun (and possibly lure them to candy cat to overfeed it). Don't really have anything for Boogie-bot, but I assume his button will have some sort of effect on him.

Does anyone know why the proctor at 17:04 gave Makayla a 4/5 in the statues game despite her specified very poor performance? The other proctor gave her a 1/5, seems odd there would be such a discrepancy.

2:36 I think that because of the last sentence “perhaps something larger than a rat would yield different results.” They used a human eventually and that was how they made the prototype.

I cant help but think the cutout recordings are done while the characters are imprisoned, it makes sense when catbee says u need to get out of here, boogey bot says the button hurts me and candy cat sounds like hes being force fed. And how do the workers not know about mommy long legs since she is allowed to roam around the gamestation area. the secret lab being built, the child testing there is so much going on in chapter 2, i can only imagine what chapter 3 is gona be like.

The animation in this chapter , specifically of mommy , is absolutely mind boggling and amazing, it's so well made that I'm drooling and nerding out, this is a huge upgrade from the first chapter . It's like comparing two completely different games

It's kinda sad to think that Bunzo Bunny cutout guesses the birthday randomly, remembering that the prospects were orphans who were likely left at orphanage without a clue of their age.

I love how he posts all the videos at once and then he explains the story and finds secrets it just makes it feel like this isn't just a chapter from poppy playtime and it's more content to watch so thank you for that :)

Something that amused me with the robot cutout; *presses button swiftly to show all voice notes* "The button hurts me" *pauses for a second or two, then presses the button again* You could see Mike's thought process without him needing to say a word 😂😂

I have a feeling Kissy Missy wrote the letter to us at the start of the first chapter… Poppy hasn’t left her case, and Kissy is the only one to help us (outside of Poppy). Either that, or she’s being ordered to help the player by someone else considering the secret tape said Huggy Wuggy was obedient.

It’s probably gonna be one of those cliche plot twist where the final antagonist was the one who lured the player in for it’s grand scheme to unlock something dumb in the lab, take the player’s body/vessel, or to build an abomination out of the deceased toys.

A little theory of my own, is that Poppy indeed wanted to help the player get out at first, but after being with Mommy for a while (who was said to be kind and caring to the other toys.. so even though she made Poppy not speak with spider webs, I feel like she'd never really hurt her) she probably saw just how much was on the line for the other toys. Mommy seems to have just gone entirely insane, likely because toys and kids both were treated poorly down there and then she was left to rot and once she did die, she was simply collected away, not even allowed to be dead in peace. So, Poppy changed her mind and felt that one human that is probably capable of putting things to an end, is a lesser sacrafice than more of the toys that are still suffering. I really also hate to imagine that these toys were made alive and then have to suffer immortality, that they face either through rotting away or being entirely forgotten. Isolation can really make one go crazy and who knows how long Poppy and Mommy have been down there as is.

I dont think the toye were immortal. We see toys that are CLEARLY dead in the factory. But in terms of living forever, the organs and D.N.A. would still rott and degrade overtime which leaves me to believe existing as a toy only EXTENDS life

Nice theory. Gives me an explanation for Poppy's drastic change in personality when you leave and "approves" of Mommy being dead. Mommy also knew that the player worked there, new information to Poppy that changed her mind from escaping to making the player set things right.

As bad she was, Mommy Long Legs did not deserve to be freaking MINCED. I was horrified when I first saw that scene. 😅

Originally, she will die by getting burnt by the burner that we encounter earlier when getting chased by her.

My theory is that Poppy doesn't want the player to leave because she wants them to beat experiment 1-0-0-6 in some way, hints her saying "You're too perfect to lose."

Wonder how deep down the rabbit hole they're going to with the resurrection test angle, since they're steering towards FNAF territory with that. They are 100% doing tests on kids(the notes with the game results and the dialogue in the Whack-a-Wuggy game straight out confirm this): and I think the game has already given us enough info to know what the end goal of those tests are.. Poppy was found trapped in a glass case in what looked like a recreation of a home that was hard to get to, and resurrection tests were done on rats. The company's founder(forget his name) had a death in the family that spurred him into throwing himself into his work, and they made him out to put family on a pedestal and gave us the info he was divorced, so his daughter being that death is a safe bet, and the entire environment we found her in is a potential warped recreation of what she would have called her childhood home. So resurrection experiments go forward, and they partially succeeded...only instead of putting people in a human body, they got infused into the toys(whether this was intentional or accidental to start is unknown atm). Once they had enough successes, the Founder resurrected his daughter into Poppy(which also could have been his daughters name) and trapped her in that case so he could have her back somewhere she couldn't die again until they had more success resurrecting people into human bodies. Since his daughter was likely still a child, they started nabbing orphans, the tests of the various games being used to set benchmarks to see just how much of the kid got brought back when they moved on to trying to bring them back, since obviously he's going to want his daughter back in her entirety: the tests seem to mark all of the benchmarks of what you could really test about a child that can be consistent at a base and would only improve upon.

Man, how do you release these videos with such quality in such a short period of time! I’m very impressed! But at the same time, please take enough care of yourself!

Mommy long legs commercial focuses on her stretching ability, so are we not going to question how she is able to produce webs when that isn't apart of her toys design. I'm thinking they might have used more than just human souls (the fact that hugi has teeth and his doll does not only furthers this).

My thoughts so far on this game: Chapter 2 was such an improvement over the previous chapter. I would estimate the game has at least 2-4 more chapters to go. I do like how the main antagonist was introduced ina subtle yet sinister way. Seeing as chapter 2 created more questions then it answered, we are in for a long haul Raise your hands if you saw Poppys betrayal a mile away. She seems an interesting character so far; while the other toys are free roaming the facility, she is the only one still locked up. This is further apparently for a reason seeing as she thought Mommy was going to lock her up again. Its also interesting that she walked right into Mommys lair as if nothing bad would happen. My HC is that Poppy was in lockup when the incident went down, and while she knows about the bad things that went on in Playtime, she has no clue what else is lurking in the building, including the Prototype. Her reckless naivete might be what ends up killing her in the end. Kissy missy strikes me as confusing. Every other toy is out on a bloodthirsty rampage, yet she seems benign. HC again, she is the opposite of Poppy: while Poppy is oblivious to the danger in the building and seeks to control the player, KM is well aware of what is going on and is trying to help the player get out instead. That said, she could also be in league with the Prototype and be purposly leading the player towards their goal. Have to see more of her later to decide. Mommy is equally confusing. While we dont know exactly what created her, its clear she wasnt friendly before she was put in the game station. While shes is anything but nice, the fact that she was afraid of the Prototype means there was some interaction prior to the game. Its also curious as to why she and the other toys havent yet left the facility. As you might recall, Huggy Wuggy was practically at the entrance when first met, and yet he chose to lure the player deeper into the facility rather then escape. Mommy especially seems like she would have no trouble leaving, so why did she stay? Playtime Co is turning out to be like Umbrella from RE. Their experiments are leabing further away from demons and eldritch powers and more into necromancy and reanimation. The poppy flower they mentioned seems to be the key, but whatever it does or can do is not known yet. Its obvious the main drive was to reanimate the owners family, but that doesnt explain the toyd or the orphans yet. My HC is that the children were being tested in a way that they were meant to die by the experiments, and would then be resurrected by the poppy flower process. The tests are just a means to see how effective the experiments were at restoring peak human body function. In being retested, they were able to see who was most sucessful, and the failures either fed to the hungry toys, aka Bonzo and Pugapillar, or resurrected again and again until the process was done right. As for the toy factory itself, I think the experiments came first and the product came second. Playtime would create abominations and then market toy designs based off them in order to appeal to the orphanages they were adopting from. It gave them public support they could hide behind while the real horror went on behind the scenes. Well, thats all I've got. The only question now is what comes out first? Poppy Playtime chapter 3 or Dark Deception chapter 5?

From what I saw, the factory was on complete lockdown, probably to contain the problem. See it a bit like the SCP foundation. Poppy was sealed in a case pretty far in, Mommy is really deep in the confusing factory and even the player character had to more or less re-open things or crawl through vents in order to get anywhere. Huggy was roaming the first halls, because he was more or less the "face" of the company up there, when people visited and he appeared to be violent towards the player, who is a former employee. Given he's said to be obidient, there is a likelyhood he was told to hunt down anyone who managed their way in. Or, he in general developed a hatred for the employees. In short: I don't think they could get out until someone from the outside opened the gates. When it comes to the experiements, I feel like the kids were being tested because they had toys they made become violent or disobedient or too smart (see the prototype being all these things) and they wanted to assure the person they were using was all these things. I don't think failing the tests would actually kill the kids, given it's implied that at least in the huggy test, the toys are pulled back if gotten too close. They don't want too smart of a person making it through. In fact, I feel like they want the kids to follow the rules, do as they are told within the test, but not be the best at them. Any kid that is too smart, too athletic or has too good of a reaction time may lead to the toys tied to them being these things too. And following all the rules even within an incredibly stressful environment, means they are just as obidient as they need to be. Still super messed up, because my god.

Maybe the remnants of their previously lives, like a part of the brain that stores our memories, still remains in some vague way in the transition; but the constant mutations and rehabilitation from the experiments fogs their minds to a point that it drives them to confusion and insanity. They all seem to detest the workers of the factory but relatively ok with children. Possibly due to the fact that they don’t blame the children for what happened, but instead the adults that betrayed them and left them to rot as monstrosities in a crumbling facility with their distorted minds. They don’t entirely remember who they had once been, but they knew that they were not meant to be the creatures that they are now and are forced to play pretend and act like a specific character in response of the past brainwashing/torturing submitted by the workers. And maybe, just maybe; we are one of the few orphans that escaped from the factory after the whole debacle. Not sure how yet, would love to hear your thoughts.

remember, Huggy is supposed to be the most obedient one out of all the experiments, which is why he was used as the security guard. He's probably still obeying the past orders and performing his duty of getting rid of intruders.

I think Elsie Lovelock did an amazing job with Mommy long legs. She does amazing voice acting’s and my fav is long legs and Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. Also Michael Kovach who I think played Angle in hazbin hotel too!

One is a forshadowed intelligent sentient claw that will soon be a fusion of all the horrible sentient toys defeated while the other is the poster and titular character of the game. Both would be really good bosses as the final bosses. I’d prefer 1006 though as it would just look so much like an Eldritch abomination at the end of the game.

I dunno. While that tape was playing, it was showing Mommy Long Legs' hand, suggesting the tape is about her. Plus, another report said that they allowed Mommy to interact with the children for testing/conditioning, so she had a little freedom to free roam around the Gamestation. She probably even went to other areas not mean for her after closing time (a la FNAF) and employees like Jacksepticeye's character only noticed because he left, but came back unexpectedly to pick up his wallet and saw her. Lastly, the scientist in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2's secret tapes, plus reports suggest that 1006 was too dangerous/deadly and needed to be kept under strict surveillance and lock down. So I don't think 1006 got the opportunity to be outside his cell until whatever catastrophic event happened at the factory that caused the massive loss of life of all staff and the toys to run rampant.

It was implied in the last tape of chapter 1 that the Prototype might’ve freed the toys and caused the outbreak but it could be a red herring. I vaguely remember blood writings on the wall calling it the savior but I might’ve mixed it up with another game. Also the employee in the tape was probably talking about PJ because they mentioned it was fifty feet long and doddering around with a thousand legs.

My theory on who exactly Ludwig lost is a child. Considering the fact it said he's divorced, his spouse probably left after the loss of a kid. Plus why he seems so dead set on a toy factory and reviving toys, especially ones like Poppy, who looks rather childlike in appearance 🤔

Theory of why kissy Missy spared the player: In chapter 1, the player kills huggy wuggy. If the toys are filled with human souls, huggy wuggy's soul mightve set free after he died. The soul inside kissy Missy could possibly be huggy wuggy's wife, sister, or daughter. This is why kissy Missy apared the player when they met, it was a thank you for freeing huggy's soul.

Omg yes i was waiting for this after watching you play it.

I feel like the game station was some kind of way for the scientists to monitor the children to see if any of them could be worthy candidates to be turned into toys and whoever failed were just thrown aside or were put six feet under along with anyone who disagreed with there methods.

This chapter really freaked me out. The chase scene was insane! Who ever was in charged of programming mommy did a great job! Also the close captioning works for the videos and for some of the cutouts

This makes me wonder if the name of the game “Poppy Playtime” means the red haired doll, poppy, and the name of the company, or poppy playtime because they’re literally playing with poppy’s. At 2:25 Mike reads through a note that mentions them using the poppy flower to revive things. So the title could literally mean they’re playing with poppy’s. It’s just me overthinking probably but it’s a cool thought anyways

not over thinking, Mob games clearly learned a things or two from Scott Cawthon, name should have 2 meanings like in Fnaf : sister location have 2 meaning. one being sister location of Freddy's Pizzeria and other being a place where Michael's sister Elizabeth resided. the name Poppy playtime clearly have this intended.

Creepy giggling and singing coming from a direction that you have to look away from while doing the game? I think I'd rather have the constant cymbals banging. Maybe at the last minute they decided they wanted to use her for something else later on?

I was exited for a a video like this ever since I watched your play-through of chapter two

Something I saw in chapter 2, the flower thing from the memory game in the trailer was replaced with the rabbit, I think it would be a fun little easter egg if in a later chapter you find either a note about it saying it was a scrapped toy or something like that to explain why it wasn't in chapter 2, that is if it isn't used as an antagonist in a later chapter.

If you read the labels in the rejected toy area it does say that daisy was deemed unsettling or something like that.

Fun fact: did you know that both the scientist and rich was actually voiced by Michael kovach the one who voiced both angel dust from hazbin hotel and n from murder drones

I’m wondering why Mommy Long Legs cutout has a weird audio. I can make out some words, but it is not easy to make a sentence. I also noticed how some of the cut outs voice lines might give us lore to this story. Suggesting that children might be toys when Boogy Bot said “Am I a *Real* boy?”

Mommy Long-Legs' stretchy body was kinda wasted. Yes it was creepy as all heck in cutscenes, but I was hoping that it would've had some impact on gameplay.

Mommy long legs iconic line: “HE’LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!” Is kinda… lore heavy. I wonder what you’ll do with that!

16:20 I’m gonna guess based on how the word Seen runs off and the small blood splatter that the person writing the report got killed by the thing the little girl spotted in the Statue game.
