The night before my senior league I crushed my thumb and the heel of my hand. Had to bowl two handed by necessity or stay home. Never done it before and my style was surely very one handedish with a lot of loft like a softball pitcher. Your videos have been helpful, much more so than any others so I subed too. I established at 108. Pretty embarrassing but I showed up. Hope I can get better at it since my hand may be bent for a month or two.

Can’t wait for the Chris via breakdown as he is the 2 hander I try to emulate. 🔥🔥

Another great analysis. Personally, I find that I have to angle my body a little sideways right from the start. So as a right-handed player, if I'm standing on Lane 1, my body is angled a bit towards Lane 2. I like to be in this position during the entire approach instead of changing position at some other time. Anyhow, it has been working for me.

Makes sense. Your allowing your body to open up early.

If possible, I'm going to be super excited for Zach Wilkins. I want to bowl like him, super smooth and sometimes you don't even hear the release.

Agreed! Honestly I think he has the best two handed game currently.

Troup still steps left a little on the 3rd step. He does stay very square though. Something I was never able to emulate.

A little, but no where near as much as other two handers.

Walter ray Williams jr. would be an interesting one to review in this series. He definitely had a lot of his one handed approach transition to him playing 2 handed

Wouldn’t this style be easier to learn for a beginner than trying to hop skip and and get a big backswing?

Learning two handed, whether it's troups style or another form isn't easy. Its easier to learn as a beginner for sure instead of trying to overwrite what you've already learned from being a one hander.

5, most professional bowlers are 5 steps with a few exceptions.

the first thing i notice is that he doesn’t do the hopstep most 2 handers do

Correct, Troup has alot of the one handed game built into his approach.
