Analyzing Flow in Products
www.cadimensions.com/products/... With SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation analysis capabilities, you can simulate liquid and gas flow in and around your designs, run "what if" scenarios and quickly analyze the effects of fluid flow, heat transfer, and the resulting forces on components. Fluids of interest for analysis range from air, water, liquid chemicals and gas; to juice, honey, ketchup or even blood. During this recorded webinar, we discuss how SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation can be done concurrently of the design process before any product has been built.

Excellent Webinar. Very informative. Thank you very much for all that.
that was very helpful , thanks for your efforts
Hi, I would like to model the pipes to do the simulation. I was wondering the dimensions or if there is any source that I could download the solid model that would be awesome. Thanks.
how i want to draw this valve in solidwork do you have a tutorial
Such a creative its helpfull. Please be continue sir👍👌
thanks bro, excellent work!
Great video..am also doing a similar project, if I may ask, how did you manage to configure the valve orientations,ie fully opened, fully closed, quarter turn etc
Great tutorial, thanks. Do you have a tutorial with more than one fluid in the simulation model? If so can you please send me the link. Cheers.

how to create different configuration of valve positions ,like half, quarter and so on ..
hi can an analyzer use calculus equations in the flow simulation. such as x^2 for pressure inputs as a velocity, yet integrate it to 1\3x^3, to use this as a calculus visual aid
Is it possible to simulate multiphase in solidworks? For eg a mixing of air and water?
I m designing a unique centrifugal compressor,i know the inlet mass flow and want to calculate pressure at outlet, what are the boundary conditions need to be applied in this kind of problem, kindly help.all i have is a 3 d model and value of inlet mass flow.
Its great..... Its good for new users of solidworks. it was good training session for me....thank you very much.....

Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
hello, why my insert preview not works?
Please provide me with the file used in this video for practice purpose.
I have another question, if you actually want to construct this how do you insert the valve into the tubes?

+Carolina Poupinha they are mated within a solidworks assembly.
Thanks verry much.
how does this valve works? Im doing a project for school and I need to draw a similar one but I dont understand... If you could tell me....

+Carolina Poupinha I think the valve was created to show the process. You would probably just have to copy it.

+Carolina Poupinha The valve works by loosening or tightening the when at the top. That will open and close the area below to restrict or shut off the flow.

hi was this imported as sldprt or parasolid? or what was the file type of this part?

Hi Kaamil! It was a native SOLIDWORKS part, however, it works the same with a Parasolid imported body. Thanks for watching!
thx a lot bro!
I know the video is rather old, but maybe someone can help me. How to simulate a waterwheel rotation without prescribing it's rotational speed? Like let it start moving due to river flow. Thanks.
hi, is it possible to animate wave generated by passing ship.

Currently we cannot simulate what you are asking for 2 reasons: We cannot solve free flow like ocean waves and we cannot solve moving bodies. Thanks for your question
That very interesting, thanks and more models please.
wow,WHich is the oldest version of solidworks supporting this flow simulation?
Gooddd thanks
Flow looks inviscid.
your preassure drope results are damn hell wrong
