A number of times we've heard Alec Baldwin say, that during rehearsals he did not ever put his finger inside the trigger guard. In numerous videos, he does just that. There was significant carelessness, callousness and incompetency during that production process.

No he says he did not pull the trigger. However, he was going to be pulling the trigger in that scene. So I don't even know why this is an issue, except for the time he may have pulled the trigger that discharged the gun--that could technically make him culpable for unintentional manslaughter.

Baldwin, "the only problem (on the film set) was when these 6 guys quit."...... The camera crew quit because the movie was becoming an unsafe work environment. They wrote a resignation letter to production, giving specific safety issues, including the lack of gun safety on this film. Production (Baldwin) ignored the complaints, and the next day Baldwin shot 2 people

What's sad is that her vision for this movie is lost. Looking through her work, it's obvious that she would have been such a success and highly sought after. Her work is beautiful and we all lost a wonderful artist that would have added layers of depth and power to films. But that pales in comparison to what her family and son have lost. The worst part is this was completely preventable.

As someone who has worked in the cinema world. I've seen this stuff before, I was offered to work with Hopsin, a pretty popular rapper. They were low balling everyone's pay because the ULTIMATE pay was being able to put on your portfolio that you got to work with Hopsin/Baldin. These people were all so terrible at what they do, every single one of them, even the girl that died sucked at her job. But because they think Baldwin would be able to boost their career, they did whatever he said, took the crappy pay, and guess what? Worked with other TERRIBLE people. If you feel like a Baldwin can boost your career, you REALLY need to reevaluate your life choices.

There have been several big movies, that you never knew about, until you looked it up, where cast or crewmembers were killed, but were still released. A key question (without answer) is: Would Halyna Hutchins have wanted her final work to be erased, or would she wanted it released in honor of her memory?

@@lucym911 Well, first of all, you are supposed not to, but that's the best-case scenario when you are talking about 2 or maybe 3 (with the cameraman) on set. It's a different setting when you have multiple people on set, say 4 actors on set and 4 crew, however you try to avoid, and normal movie crew are in the low 20s (as in 20 something people) it's very hard to get an angle when you have a clear path. It's always going to end up with your muzzle pointing at someone. And then there are close up shot and mid-range shot, if you were to shoot a hostage scene when you have the bad guys pointing the guns at the hostage head, tell me how you can do this shot without pointing it at the hostage actor's head? On the other hand, do you know why Souza and Hutchin both didn't ask to check the weapon? Baldwin lawyer is going to ask Souza this question. "Why didn't you stop the set (He is THE DIRECTOR by the way) and check the weapon when it was going to point at your direction. And I think he is most likely going to say he didn't expect a live round is going to be on set. Why this is important? Because in law, you need to be able to proof foreseeability to get recklessness, and you need to be able to prove recklessness to prove manslaughter, because you need to know what you are doing is dangerous and you did it anyway. If Souza, the person who get shot, didn't see it coming, how do you think that reaction on Baldwin?

IMO the armorer's job was to ensure that the guns were safe to use on set and that they were never loaded with LIVE rounds. Hannah failed at that job because she was high, disorganized, inept, and she didn't take her job to keep everyone safe seriously. Hannah said that she shook handfuls of dummies at the same time instead of individually shaking them, which is why Halyna is dead. Hannah refused to shake the dummies one at a time which is the ONLY reason why Halyna died. If Hannah had done her job correctly by shaking the dummies then no one would have ever been in danger.

look closer at Seth Kenny, the head armourer on paper and supplier of ammunition and Sarah Zachery, who threw away all the ammo right after shooting. They both had access to the gun right before shooting. Both were given 100% immunity. There is an interesting video of those 2 with the NM sheriff office laughing and joking about the shooting with Seth Kenny saying he wrote '666' on all the live bullets he sent to the set. Hannah had 2 jobs not one. Something is fishy here.

If his finger was just on the side of the trigger as the pistol was being cocked, it could have prevented the hammer from cocking in place and the pistol would then have fired. I saw this a few days ago on tv with a woman newscaster but I can't find it.

I heard that NO LIVE AMMO is ever to be on the set or on the property where movie is being filmed, so the person who purchased the ammo should have checked it out thoroughly before taking it to the movie location. Then the person who loaded the guns should verify the ammo, then the Armorer who handed the gun to Actor and finally the Actor should have checked it out as well! Looks like he had his finger on the trigger in those clips you showed so he had to have pulled the trigger! He’s responsible for shooting those two victims and must be held accountable for injuries and ultimately her death! Up to Jury to find him guilty of all the charges! He’s innocent as of right now! ✌🏼

AB's description backs up my main contention that SAG-AFTRA Safety Bulletin #1 is about blanks. It's not about empty/inert guns, and it's not about safety protocols to protect against live rounds being accidentally loaded in place of dummies. It was written to safely handle guns with blanks, not guns accidentally loaded with live ammo. It ought to be interpreted in that light.

I'm sure a Santa Fe jury will see Alec had feelings and empathy when he learned that she didn't make it. I don't think they will excuse him for the negligence that brought this though. Their conviction of Hannah was not at all based on how they felt about her. They made it clear that everyone is expected to be responsible and if you're not and someone is hurt or dies, you are responsible for your actions, regardless of intent. They gave him a concession already. The took away the gun enhancement that would have extended 18 months for conviction to several more years Alec needs to grow up and be responsible for himself.

An actor who receives a producer credit, for providing some creative input or maybe just financial support, is in no way comparable to a working producer who actively hires the crew. What happened was not intentional and it was not negligent and this tragedy was not his responsibility. NM pays vast sums to lure movie/tv productions to their state. Hopefully, those production companies won't do that anymore because this is a runaway prosecution which makes no sense.
