    Nice analysis! My only crit is that Beethoven gives all the interesting phrases to the first violins, leaving the rest of the string section doing filler chords and harmonies. It would have been more interesting to see him throw the lead lines around a bit more to the other instruments, like maybe the cellos, violas, and flute.

    like the last comment. violins doing heavy lifting. woodwind triple, quadruple the sound. brass section is very thin. at some point, the brass need be solo, add salient to the sound.
