In an army that's supposed to have little individuality, there are a lot of individuals.

What I hate about Ben is that he's just a weird Magus. GW just did not know what to do for another GSC character, which is funny because no one asked for another GSC character anyway

@@Lirretobbyeah I actively didn’t want another character and I may just opt out of the rest of 10th edition over this. Literally the last thing the army needed, and extra insulting because they nerfed our Magus to trash tier this edition just so they could replace it.

That much for a Hazardous two shot lascannon and a slightly wonky buff?... Guard pay what, 50-60 for either three lascannons or one with a whole bubble wrapping infantry squad? Even with the buff it doesn't seem amazing (not terrible just not amazing) and it's definitely weird they gave them yet more characters in such a character based army.

You keep making videos and I keep watching? Deal. Also, my family who don't play 40 K (yet) love watching your videos too. Your humor style is right up our alley.

There is, but I think it's not really enough to call her good, but better than she was. She can now unbattleshock a unit instead of the psychic protection and mind control is now 18" no LoS needed and is now a -1 to hit and wound instead of being unable to shoot.

Great videos. Love the analysis and especially the humor/levity you bring but I can’t help but ask myself what’s the point? GW wants to sell me this book and they can’t even be bothered to put the points changes in? We get ANOTHER character unit??? Just add it to the pile of a myriad of reasons I don’t play as often as I did back in 8th

Hi Christian Von Carmian, new fan but big fan of your adepta sororitas content. I'm still relativity new to the army and i'm slowly building and painting an army of sisters (I adore them) I saw your video regarding the hidden ways to gather miracle dice. I would LOVE to make an army that pushes that mechanic to its limits especially when the new codex releases with the new detachment regarding two acts of faith per turn, if you haven't already I would love to see a video of you delving into gaining as much miracle dice and utilization of those dice as possible for that detachment!

I think loading up 3 bens into a rockgrinder with a mining laser and rolling it around as an anti that thing unit in the outlander detachment (for that +1 hit on firing deck) would be amusing. Though very expensive depending on final point costs. But the rockgrinder can soak up any hazardous wounds for the bens and 6 2+ ignores cover (and potentially ap4 with ridgerunner support) lascanons isn't anything to sneeze at.

Okay, wait, I thought the hits from Torrent were considered sixes? Gonna rifle through the rules real quick. Edit: Seems the consensus is no, but notably lethal hits does not specify a roll, it specifies a critical hit. But torrent is just a hit. Smart idea to curb the kind of power Votann had in ninth.

I think the goliath Truck is firing deck 6 now :(

Cult Hades mining drill. Deep strike outside 9" then allow a unit too arrive within 6" but outside 3". Reduce reliance on one stategem and also can rapid ingress, raptors gonna mess up your neophytes, rapid ingress a unit of abberants in the way with the drill. ALSO FLUFFY. It adds more tools for the tool box and stays in theme with the army.

Is the answer to every GSC question Neophytes?

Wait When you say it has one shot, do you mean it has the One Shot keyword or that its Attacks profile is 1?

It's a straight buff. Supreme Commander means it's still only One Per army and Warlord, but now it can take enhancements and gain crusade improvements.

GW really just nerfed every good part we had (Can't wait for a video of you opinions on the gsc codex when it's officially out)

At this point GSC should have a detachment dedicated to having an army comprised solely of characters, since they have so many.

Brood brothers auxilia, 3 Benny in Rockgrinder, +1 to hit, rr 1s to hit for alphus, rr1s to wound for strat, triggered by Sanctus and some rapiras, +1 AP. And it's on first turn, not second like in index. It's 6 laser shots +9D3 from 3 grinders and 6 Ridgerunners on 3+/2+. You guys really underestimate this detach, it's our little ironstorm

but in that detachment I would prefer Guard tanks and heavy weapons teams for my lascannon shots. Even without a bonus to hit I think the points will work out at more shots. Then the GSC side of the army can provide the bodies

Personally happy about one more psyker in GSC but I am little bit psyker obsessed and I simultaneously totally accept Christian's argument.

As a German the Name Benefictus is a little "funny" . fic(k)t means f**** ... so Bene f**** us ... Seeing his Point Costs and what we can get instead in a Tyrannid Army the name seems to fit. But it's ok this new modelle is a little gift from GW for us and ... Gift means present OR in geman Poison. 😎

I get the feeling that someone at GW just saw Markplier Big Brain meme and thought "Hey that would be a cool character" and then worked around that...

I have two major issues with this one. First: it is a terrible sculpt at a ridiculous price. Luckily this can be fixed by... just building your own version. The whole concept boils down to "dude with bigger brain", and there are plenty of possibilities to convert something fitting for actually resonable amounts of money. Second and irredeemable: it is just so UNNECESSARY ON SO MANY LEVELS. Nobody asked for a "Magus+1", especially not in such a horrible model. I still don't see what it in terms of gameplay options you can not get in other ways. I kinda hope actual gameplay experience proves me wrong and its rules provide something unique and useful and balanced - and do not leave the MAgus even more obsolete than it already is - but then... this is GW we are talking about.

Ben is just a Neurothrope Magus... I'd rather bring an actual Magus... Provided that GW actually buffs it.

@@dongold9605 I just saw the changes... Only use I could see for my favorite GSC leader is maybe stacking the -1 with something else while leading a bunch of acolytes/metamorphs. Buuuuut there are better options for that.
