Thank you Mr Fremer for taking the efforts to film and hold the camera throughout these tours for us. It is not easy... you could have just walked through and enjoyed the tour at will casually chatting along without concern for filming, and just be chatting up with staff and friends there on the relevance of various components and processes....quite simply, just enjoyed yourself!!🤗 But you didn't just walk though.... You kindly bothered to indulge us!

Planar 6! Can't believe it. I really hope we don't have to wait much longer. I'm planning to buy a turntable for quite a while now and I haven't really considered getting a Rega. Until now. This video series shows how much knowledge and passion goes into developing these turntables. Inspiring. Thank you very much, Mr Fremer! Keep up the awesome work! Greetings from Germany.

Thank you for making such an excellent series. What a fascinating insight into the production process. I love the way each product, from the budget end to the high end, is given the same level of care and attention on it's journey through the assembly process

Really enjoyed the tour. Very interesting comment. Glad to see the way Rega and leadership are investing profits into next generation research. Fascinated by the precision and the emphasis on stiffness and lower mass. Also, I really admire the blend of science plus listening and testing. Keep this kind of journalism coming. First class.

Brilliant stuff...!! Fascinating to see so deeply inside the workings of a high quality independent UK turntable manufacturer, and the incredible QC steps involved along the way, and how it all falls together to produce a quality player from the least, to most expensive! Thank you Michael Fremer for sharing these fantastic insights with us :-)

After getting into high-end audio a number of years ago, I was still a bit skeptical about vinyl. All those pops and skips I remembered held me back. Then I decided to dip my toe in the water, and bought a store-demo Rega Planar 1. Low cost, and not much invested if I didn't like it. Well, I was very surprised by how "musical" vinyl is in comparison to digital, even with this entry-level turntable and cartridge. Just bought the upgraded white drive belt, and feel much better about spending that much money on, what looked like, a rubber band. These videos have really impressed me with Rega's attention to detail and commitment to audio quality.

I own a Rega New P3, also new Rega Brio. And I'll tell you, Rega kit always makes me smile when I listen. Is that what it's supposed to be about. Thank you England for making Rega Research.

PLANAR 6!!! I wasn't sure whether I should buy Planar3 now or wait for the next version of RP6. Forget about the Planar 3, I'll wait for the 6! It's amazing to see how much goes into R&D of turntables. Gives me a lot of confidence that all those thousands of bucks that I've spent on super copies of vinyl records will definitely translate into a lot of future hours enjoying my favorite music on my favorite media. Michael, thank you so much!!

With all the fantastic engineering done on the turntables and arms, it is amazing that they have not come up with an updated B&O or Revox type straight line tracking tonearm.

I respect Rega a lot more since watching this, a proper audio company that pulls two fingers up to the ridiculous 'high end' snake oil manufacturers.

Thanks very much to both Mr. Fremer and to Mr. Gandy for this exceptional look into the production of Rega turntables. My own Planar 3 dates from the late '70s (1977?) and is fitted with a Grace arm. As I remember, the Rega came from the factory back then with a variant of the Lustre arm that I did not care for. I wished to use the Grace F9E cartridge and my dealer installed the matching Grace arm for me. I believe back then the Planar 3 could be ordered without arm (obviously). With only a drive belt replacement every few years, it has played beautiful music since its purchase and is still in fine shape. One day I must install the motor upgrade kit and maybe consider some of the non-Rega aftermarket upgrades. A great turntable that just seems to be getting better and better.
