Most definitely. It's amazing how they started off in the same vein as Joyo but broke into the mainstream retailers. It's super rare for a brand to transition from what many considered a generic brand to a respectable brand.

@@longjonsilvernuts Yeah, the industrial design of this pedal is above average. It looks like a big pedal instead of a car stereo or a retro video game console. And I think Eastman is doing that in guitars. It is rare. Eastman started out selling hand made Gibson copies which have now become nearly as expensive. Now they have their own designs.

Nice review, but I prefer a clean sound so that you can perceive the differences in that sound on your computer. Like your demonstration with the microphone placements. You can never really do much with distorted sounds in the reviews shown. Not meant negatively by the way. Merry Christmas and a good 2024!

I bought the Trident to replace my Pod go....hands down, I like the Trident much better. The tone of the amps are much better especially on the high gain amps, it does lack in delay and reverb options but maybe with firmware updates they will add a few more. Overall, great sounding pedal board and easy to use.

The Trident is awful compared to the GP 200 by Valeton. I had the Trident it was a gone 2 days later, the tap tempo drove me crazy, The Valeton is loaded with expression pedal, tons of sounds, tons of effects, great IR’s. The amp Modeling is better.

Really love the unit and you showcased it very well. I'm well on the outer here though, I didn't like how it sounded. I thought for want of a better word it sounded very 'digital' or perhaps in reverse not very 'organic'. I don't often comment on these types of pedals, largely because they 'all' offer a crazy amount for relatively little and so mostly they depend on budget and the players needs/uses. Maybe some 'cleaner' tones or just some tweaking would change my thoughts here on how it sounds Cheers Shane.

Nice demo!! Question: Is there a way to shut off the amp simulator with one of the buttons? I would use this mainly for direct recording but for the occasional gig I'd love to be able to shut the amp sim off and use a fuzz tone. Also have you A/B'd this unit with the Nux Cerebrus? I like the EFX pedal insert options of the Cerebrus but the Trident seems to sound fatter in all the demos I've seen .
