    Very nice video Glenn. And with great explanation. Many thanks. Can you tell me is Nux Trident is much better than Boss GT 1000 CORE, GX100 or Fractal Fm3 ?!? Many thanks in advance, Phil from Dunkirk

    With the right tweaks?? Yes absolutely. Right out of the box though?? Hard to say but the Trident has alot of unexplored territory which I intend to showcase in the coming months. I'll let you be the judge but listen to this video and tell me what you think Phil. kzread.info/dash/bejne/a32Ep62zmrbgf9o.html

    I bet the setting for straight or round knobs is talking about how you would move the mouse, either vertically up and down or in a circular motion to change the value. I thought I read complaints where you couldn't save over a factory preset but it looks like you didn't have any problems with that. Good coverage.

    To connect the trident directly to studio monitors can I use balanced 1/4 inch cables from output 1 and 2, or do I need xlr to 1/4 inch cables?

  • @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    10 ай бұрын

    Honestly, I have not tried balanced 1/4in. cables but what you heard in the demo was recorded using standard TS L&R cables right from the unit. I most always use this method. Even on many many session recordings that have made it around the world.

    How is the feel, meaning does it have that feel of a real tube like amp.

    Hi Glenn, do you know if the Trident has a way to do Tap Tempo....Thx...

  • @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    Yes!! They have this ting called "Smart Tempo". It's labeled on the unit besides the Delay on/off button. That's your Tap Tempo. Works pretty good too I gotta say.

    I have the Pod Go for year and recently purchased the Trident.....put it this way, I won't be going back to the Pod Go. The Trident sounds so much better and I like the layout....

    Great review. I was curious if the effects were stereo or mono?

  • @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    From what I can tell, some of the modulation effects are in stereo like the chorus and d-tune but the delays are all mono. No panning delays are anything like that.

  • @GlennDeLauneOfficial

    well the GX-100 is the most expensive at $599.00, then the POD GO at $499.99 and the Trident at $449.00. They all sound great to be honest.

    To go through the factory sounds on the effect processor you have to press the button every time you change the patch. I have never seen such ludicrousness.

    Turn what knob the one on the left of the display screen? You should be able to go through them with your feet. Thats what every other effect board does. @@GlennDeLauneOfficial

    You can do that if you like. There are Bank Up & Down switches and each bank has 3 preset switches as well. No need to turn the knob at all to cycle through the presets.
