Hello everyone I'm very confused about this two terms 1. Anaesthesiologist (specialisation after mbbs) 2. PhD Anaesthesia Question: what is the difference between these two terms ? PhD anaesthesia candidate licensed to give anaesthesia to the patient if not what is the role of phd anaesthesia candidate's Plz can anyone clarify this

PhD anesthesia can only do research. Only MD Anesthesia can give anesthesia to patients.

Yes very less. If you want more salary you should go into medicine, radio, derma, surgery, OBG, ortho, pediatrics or opthal. Anesthesia is a dependant branch.

80k during your residency...My senior completed his MD anesthesia from KGMU last year and he is earning close to 2lac/month in kanpur. Pay grade is even better than medicine and pedia during early years because medicine guy have to make his name until he starts earning. You do you fellowship or DM after MD anesthesia and you earn 3-4lac/ month easily in any corporate hospitals.

@@DeletedAccountForSure Lmao you are one of those who believes things from 2008 lmao. Not a dependant branch anymore. Optha requires crores of investment for you clinic. anaesthetist guy is more employed than medicine/pedia guy coz of high demand.

@@chetanabasak6829 you can IF 1.ur from a family filled with docs 2.have a very high level of contacts btwn doctors 3.own already running setup (by ur mom or dad) Actually if ur gonna free Lance min u can do 4 to 5 general anaesthesia (nearly 5k per GA) per day So calculate!
