Might be worth it to check out Mordheim City of The Damned as it's similar but older and Warhammer Fantasy based so less shooting and more Ratmen.

Necromunda is a Mordheim clone in a good way imo.

I used to play the tapbletop game in the 90s. I just found this game, released under my radar, and i love it. the AI is reallydumb.

It also flopped when it came out because if the bad AI they also had in mordheim, to bad they could have gone back and made an AI remaster of mordheim if they learned how to. It seems like make a passable game with potential, then DLC and abandon is the studio game plan.

@@robsonez yeah, agreed. i played it for a week and dropped it.. id still reccommend it to an old game workshop fan ,if it's on sale for a few dollars but nothing beyond that

Yea, Necromunda was created by same people that created Mordheim; city of the damn, same gameplay basically with less guns and more melee and magic

And a HELL of a lot more variety and flavour. The different factions in Mordheim are actually different unlike in Underhive where all gangs have the exact same set of classes.

Tbh its honestly worth the 20$ im having fun with it

It's on sale for five right now on Xbox. Contemplating it. Never played a tactical turn based game tho.

If only there's some dedicated fans that could fix the ai behaviour, but that's wishful thinking. There are just better 40k XCOM games out there. Shame though, I really liked how this game played

As an XCOM fan I find this game very amusing as well, sinking 95 hours in only under a month. But I've played Mordheim (Steam version not tabletop) too. It's safe to say that the easiest fights in this game will still take some brain power to win efficiently (winning overall is easy even in the hardest difficulties). I also find myself rearranging my strategies depending on the faction and the map so I somehow disagree about clans being skins.

Mordheim is way more difficult and story mode is better than this.. fiasco.. I was thinking about buying it but thanks to You, I won't 😊❤ You should definitely try Mordheim, cheers and thanks for Your hard work.

Sorry mate, i disagree, everyone in this game speak normaly "when they are talking whit someone they actualy trust". Conclusion: Every ganger IS larping, look at then they are like teenagers whit guns. They are pathetic and they know it, but their enemys are supose to think they are actually big and scary and dangerous like and Orc or Something. So they larp. Think about it: A Guardsmen acutually are the best of the best if you compare then whit this stupid goons.

Where I come from this is how people sound. Hell, I sound like this lol. To me this is normal. Also, as much as I want to like this game, it can be rather frustrating and very unforgiving. I just gave it another chance today. Bad idea.

@@otherm6785 Mechanicus is so much more unique and unforgiving. Its make you pay for any mistake make you constantly ponder risk reward situacions. Also shoots are always 100% hit if the character don't actualy make sometnhing to change that. "For there is certainty in stell"!

I mean I am ok with not getting my dick kicked off every time I play a game lol life is hard I enjoy my games not as stressful but I still like the tactics genre...but i am very aware I am absolutely in the minority on that topic vast majority of tactics fan do enjoy that Uber challenge...but yea sadly this game did stink lol but if u licked xcom that much..but didn't really re visit that type of game .I suggest getting more into the genre there is some very very strong games in the genre right now..this could have been way better bad AI pathing was a major issue on the console version oof lol

this game would be amazing if the Ai wasn't so incredibly stupid. Regardless of what difficulty you play on it is basicly just shoot all the enemies while they drop their weapons to grab loot, once they all dead you grab the loot and win. Game had such potential but unfortunately it's a total washput simply cause the ai dont prioritize trying to kill the player.
