What’s sadder is that canonically all nightmare would have to do is wait a few seconds for dream to melt/disintegrate because of direct contact with the negativity and he would die (Btw really loved the animation!!!)

The hug at first seemed precious at the beginning, but tbh when I saw Dream hugging Nightmare I thought about the Canon ver. where Dream would melt if he would touch Nightmare and I was expecting him to melt, but it didn’t happen… Then I thought that it would’ve been just a normal hug but I still asked myself why was there a blood warning…and when I saw Nightmare’s smile…I realized… I started saying “Pls Nightmare don’t do it!” But then he did it… …At least…Dream can meet his brother again now…😢❤
