The type 16s are fantastic vehicles. They’re even pretty effective at 11.0 games with my Type 10. Gen 3 Thermals do wonders.

@@yamatokurusaki5790 yes, all the type 16s have gen 3 thermals. I think they have the use the same systems as the type 10, but don’t quote me on that.

I quite like how the .50 is mounted on this thing, on a rotating commander's cupola similar to the of the M1 and M1A1 Abrams tanks. Quite nice, especially with the teddy bear :3

Literally can't complain about this vehicle amazing modifications all around for its br along with the firepower

I rate the type 16, handles imo like the rooikat and VRCC, timing is key to survival and have had some big round glance off purely by angle and chance. As with anything played right it's great.

What do you think of Type 16P now in 9.3 when before was 8.7

Bro type 16s are brilliant vehicles, after slogging through the Type 74s Playing a vehicle with these thermals, this speed and surprising survivability. It feels like im playing a hole different game

Maybe even the premium Type 74(G) be nice to see. The Type 16 and (p) i think are great light tanks. But good vid Justin great vids all the time and I am so glad to see you are not one of them players that feel like they need to hide their name in the game 110% props for not falling in that level of person 👍Justin keep'n it💯

Absolutely love the Type 16 P. One down side is how damn loud the engine is. Hard to be sneaky.

scouting should have an effective radius that if the vehicle is inside of it it scouts them and maybe even be able to increase the radius in the crew upgrades change my mind.

I love this tank! It's an excellent combo of mobility, firepower and survivability (no armor best armor)

imo i think the ptl02 is better as it sits at a lower br, however ever since i got it i think i've only gotten a few downteirs? idk probably because of premium spam but its a pain to grind. another downside its got no armour compared to this, looks boxy and no uav :(

its because it has way more torque than most other wheeled vehicles which allows it to perform way better off road

huh? sacrifices itsarmour? who cares about armour, it survives 50 cals, this thing shouldn't even be 8.7 with the dart it has now, seeing as that is the dart the 9.3 XM1 has, it has gen 3 thermals, and it has amazing speed, it should probably be 9.0 at least, especially seeing as the whole reason the XM1 is 9.3 is because of its speed, and the other Type 16 should be 9.3 at least.

@@aflyingcowboy31 The armor on the full version can stop autocannons and a surprising amount of chemical effect rounds, that is very significant when you run into a lot of IFVs. Also Japan gets the Type 93 apfsds at 8.7 anyways so just 'cause the US doesn't get a better option it might want doesn't mean it makes sense to not give it to another Nation. Especially because the Type 93 shell was put into production well before the Type 16 was even on paper.

"US doesn't get a better option it might want doesn't mean it makes sense to not give it to another Nation." The US does have better rounds that Gaijin could give the US tanks, they just refuse to unless they want to change their BR, because when a US tank does get a better round, guess what, those vehicles instantly go up in BR. "Especially because the Type 93 shell was put into production well before the Type 16 was even on paper" you have no clue how Gaijin balances vehicles do you? regardless, as I said both Type 16s need to move up in BR, well all wheeled vehicles need to move up in BR bar the M1128, Radkampf and Cent 120.

As for the BR of the Type 16 it generally wouldn't change performance wherever you shift it up or even down just because of how vehicles like it function, so it makes the most sense to keep it where it can be part of the one proper fleshed out lineup Japan has as a nation.

"As for the BR of the Type 16 it generally wouldn't change performance wherever you shift it up or even down" ah it absolutely matters wtf, these vehicles should not be facing 7.7 - 8.0 vehicles, even 8.3 is pushing it, there are a decent amount of vehicles at those BRs that either have no stabiliser, no laser rangefinder, no mobility, terrible rounds, and or no thermals, so it absolutely matters, next you are going to tell me the WMA and PTL should stay at 8.3. "so it makes the most sense to keep it where it can be part of the one proper fleshed out lineup Japan has as a nation." I do feel sorry for Japan as they really don't have many vehicles, and it is one of the reasons I stopped grinding them, but I could care less if the Type 16s have a lineup or not, they shouldn't be as low as they are, the same goes for the Rooikat and Cent 105 they shouldn't be 8.7, Gaijin moved both the US and German Rolands to 10.3, where neither country has a lineup, so you either have to uptier your 10.0 tanks to 10.3, or not use it until 10.7 - 11.0.

okay, here I will begin. day 3 of requesting the Jpz 4-5, is stupidly underrated for the sights and shell it has at his BR.

Three things here. One, anyone else just absolutely love modern Japanese camouflage? One of the best selections in the whole game. Secondly, can Gaijin stop putting identification markings and other baked-in decals on seemingly random ground vehicles? I do that shit myself with decals, and when one out of every hundred vehicles just gets them permanently for whatever reason, it messes with my system and irks me. Most importantly, can Gaijin please fucking decide what it wants to do with prototypes? Some are premiums, some are tech tree. Some are released first, some later as lineup fillers. Some (LIKE THE CENTAURO!!!) never even get their god damn production variants.

Looks like a nice Vehicle, but since it's in the Japanese TT, I'm never gonna get it 😂
