Nice choice of wild camping spots.Difinatley worth another go an when you pack up there will be a nice place for snakes to sun.lol😊

True about the snakes. I thought it was too late in the year for them to be out, but I saw one on my last day hike.

Thanks fleotusbing. I know you are a long time watcher. I am hoping to do more - some like this, and some 'midweekers' in official campgrounds that are hopefully near empty.

None so far. Hopefully it stays that way. It's not a reserve, just unused crown land. It's likely a flood mitigation area. I didn't leave anything behind and didn't light a fire. Some dog walkers pets leave more evidence of their visit.
