Great is God's faithfulness to me indeed! And to YOU and to everyone, even to those who do not acknowledge it through ignorance or rebellion or indifference. He lets His rain fall on the good and the evil. He is kind and extends His protection upon us all as He sees fit. The question is: How faithfulness are we to God? We could never be to Him as faithful as He is to us but we can be as faithful as is humanly possible for us to be to Him. Father Abraham was called the father of the faithful. I want so to be faithful to my Heavenly Father, do you? To serve Him faithfully, to keep His Commandments, statutes and laws as Abraham did. To please God in every way with the Holy Spirit's help.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and rich explanation of this and other hymns. Your encouraging and gentle challenging words are appreciated! I personally was touched by the fact that the writer of the words was just an ordinary Person with a relatively ordinary life who saw the faithfulness of God in ordinary circumstances. Not everyone has had extreme circumstances they have gone through before experiencing His faithfulness. God bless you in this ministry of sharing.

I think that you are correct in terms of his recitation of the seasons, but I think that it could also paint a bigger picture of life. We all go through different seasons and chapters in life. There are the warm summers, and the cold and dark of winter (notice that he doesn’t take them in order-could he have shifted from summer warmth to winter cold in some way in life?) They don’t always go in order! Flower-filled springtime and bountiful harvest: we experience all of these in different phases and cycles of life. BUT through it all, our Lord is always and ever faithful. That’s not just a trait of our Lord; it’s who He is! Oh, what surpassing comfort and what abundant joy! Hallelujah!!😊🙌❤️ My father compiled three hymn books over the course of his lifetime ministry. These are all very precious. My sister and I grew up listening to and singing them as he played them on the piano. What a rich treasure trove they represent. Thanks so very much for sharing them. I am, in turn, sharing your channel widely, always to great response and acclaim. May our Lord lead, guide and bless you, as only He can! All to His glory and in His marvelous grace!🙏

What a beautiful song, one of my favorites. I had tears streaming down my face signing this with you, oh, how faithful is our God! Your comments about our mundane life was just what I needed to hear. I can't play an instrument like you, tell of these wonderful songs or do outstanding things, I so often wondered why Jesus would want me. I'm no one special, but Jesus has been so faithful to me and provided when I was in need. One day when I get to meet you in Heaven, I hope to sing all these songs with you to our Lord.
