And somehow nobody here knows this 😳. It's absolutely MINDBOGGLING!
So, this orchid uses a way similar to a pitcher plant, luring in insects with its scent and dropping them in a pool of liquid to keep them from flying away. However, the orchid doesn't intend on killing the bees, but rather to force them into pollination, whereas pitcher plants use the same fluids to slowly digest their prey.

How do they know what to do? Think about it : All creatures are programmed by ATCG as computers are programmed by 1010001000, the answer is clear! If we know there's wisdoms in the programmed Gene, then the answer is there-who's the programmer?

Yeah because it's been directed and the bee is CGI in many shots, this is more cinema than a documentary.

How
slight correction- the flower is not pollinated by the "bee falling into the bucket". It has to go through the same steps escaping through the tunnel ,to attach the pollen sacs to the stigma.

Perfect choice in a narrator, Meryl Streep. I am obsessed with orchids and I loved the ghost orchid movie she did with Nick Cage…”Adaptation”. She also narrated “Vermeer: Painter of light”. Her voice is silk.

How Nature has created such a beautiful way of intelligence without any side effects, no pollution no impacting on any other species. This is a. Real Invention and Technology of. NATURE which humans cannot accommodate or accomplish. If they, they will surely impact many sectors including pollutions and disturbance in. Nature

It's amazing to see how plants have evolved to specifically target certain animals. Either plants are way smarter than we understand or this is all just a coincidence 🤷♂️. Very interesting non the less.
