“An Open Declaration Of Defeat And Purposelessness!” | Peter Hitchens Blasts David Cameron’s Return

David Cameron made a dramatic return to frontline politics as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tried to reset his Government before the general election expected next year.
The former prime minister was given a seat in the Lords to become Foreign Secretary as Mr Sunak risked a row with the Tory right by sacking controversial home secretary Suella Braverman.
Peter Hitchens tells TalkTV’s Mike Graham that there was “no redeeming feature” to the Conservative cabinet reshuffle.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an open declaration of defeat and purposelessness!”

Albeit, this could not accomplish a rebirth from the ashes, with regards to British politics, without the current model crumbling to its foundations. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better, this I honestly believe, is what is playing out, and hopefully there's a light at the end of the tunnel at some point soon.
