Barbacoa is the meat on a quesabirria. Man when made well its a slice of heaven in taco format. Red salsa made with guajillo and ancho peppers, brushed on a corn tortilla taco, grilled with a layer mexican cheese, filled with the goat barbacoa meats, cilantro cebolla a little chipotle salsa fresh squeezed lime with consume on the side. I had a roommate who called 911 all the dang times, but for something totally different than this, she had something majorly wrong with her, and she'd all of a sudden get better soon as the EMTs arrived. Her last call to 911 she said that she couldn't see anything, that everything was black, and her gullible boyfriend was freaking out, and I knew it was bull because her eyes were following everyone's movements and if she couldn't see, she wouldn't be able to do that. When the EMTs got there, I was outside, and they asked me what was it this time? I told them, and I told them that it was bull pucky and we all three knew it. I let them inside and told them where she was, and I heard the test that they were doing with a flashlight and questions that they were asking, and wouldn't you know it her site was all of a sudden restored! I heard the female EMT coming down on someone, and I kept quiet. When the EMTs came out, they asked to talk to me outside, and the female EMT told me that my roommate had been abusing 911 long enough, and she told her that, and her doing that took them away from someone who really needed them, so if she ever called 911 again and it wasn't an emergency and they could prove it wasn't she would be in serious trouble and would have to spend some time in jail. I told them thank you. People like this lady disgust me. My Daddy was in the military, so I was lucky to be exposed to different cultures, and if my parents had found out that it was the little girl's birthday, they would've come over with a gift for her and to say " Happy Birthday." If my Momma knew that they were cooking underground, she would have brought over something for them to eat and ask if they could explain underground cooking to her one day when they got a chance because my Momma loved to cook. Both of them would have told them that they had a teenage daughter who loves kids and is good with them who just happens to babysit. I wasn't raised to be like that lady and neither was my daughter or granddaughters." My gardener is Spanish " doesn't give her the excuse to be a rude racist Karen pain in the behind either.

Hollywood people fucking kill me. 😂 That would not be a lawful arrest, and she would be able to sue them for kidnapping. They best they can do is call the city about having her residence placed as a nuisance caller and potentially fine her. These writers don't know anything about the law. They come up with these scenarios that have no basis in reality but play them off as how they work. It gives an unrealistic expectation of how the law works to people who think it's legitimate.

It's a lawful arrest. You can be arrested for making false reports and wasting the cities time and resources. It just is almost never done. But it IS illegal and firemen have authority to arrest in many places. FDNY for example are classified as peace officers with limited powers to arrest. A citizens arrest is also perfectly legal to do, but if you're not careful you could be in trouble if it was under false pretenses or you assaulted someone in the process.

@MisterJinKC yes they can be classified that way but under very limited circumstances just like you said. Disagreement over what is or is not a valid 911 call is not grounds for a citizens arrest. If he had actual arrest powers, he wouldn't have claimed a citizens arrest. And then, once again, you can not affect a citizens arrest just because you dislike the person. At this point it would be up to the police to determine if there was a crime committed and then arrest her but only if she wasn't in her home, because then they would have to get a warrant for her arrest. The law is not as cut and dry as they try to make it out on TV. It is stupid and nuanced to oblivion, and it is done that way so people can't navigate it on their own. I'm not a lawyer, but I know just enough to know this crap they put on TV would not stand up in any actual court. And I already know, there are real-world examples of this kind of crap but that doesn't make it lawful.
