Yes they are but the authorities have a power to control them, like the US government control our freedom of speech
Maybe preaching to the choir here , but the graphic novel Persepolis ( as this piece seems to be evoking ) is an amazing read and speaks to the sudden yet slippery slope into tyranny that is a potential for many communities , including our very own
I didn't expect to cry watching this but I did.
