No foolin'. I have stumbled upon a solution. It is working, at least for now. Every day it's something else. Seriously, I find a new bit of ESSENTIAL gear all the time. Recently it has been small modular/ semi-modular. The Kastle 1.5 seems very cool. But then I think, yeah but what about Volca Modular? It's not THAT much more. Yeah, but I'd really like the 0-Coast I think. And now I'm up to $500... But what about the Drumbrute Impact I was drooling over a few days ago? So I can't make a decision. And if I feel like pulling the trigger on some gear, all I have to do is see what Stimming, Gabe Miller, Andrew Huang, Ricky Tinez, Loopop, RMR and friends are up to. And then I find something new to obsess about.

One surprising use I found for it is coming up with precision parts. 1.Come up with a groove 2. Sample it 3. Play with the loop start/end/direction and overlay on top of your sample. Fun quick way of coming up with new grooves

I’m really glad you decided to try this unit out. I hadn’t heard of it before your video but have been thinking about for quite a while since then. I’m happy to say the my noodlebox arrives on Monday. Your semi modular video convinced me to switch to embracing semi modular. I can’t wait to get this thing hooked up to my 0-coast/Strega, Pico system 3, and Erebus V3. Looks like this should handle those devices pretty well.

I've found that learning more interfaces & workflows is like learning programming languages. First one, you don't fully understand it unless you spend a LOT of time on it. Second one, you find it frustrating because it isn't what you're used to. 3rd one, not perfect, but you notice how much easier it is to learn it. At some point you are learning new ones with very few breaks to 'look this up' and you learn to appreciate each one for its strengths and weaknesses. So moral of the story: learning different interfaces reinforces the fundamentals and allows you to learn and understand new stuff very quickly.

Hey, quick tip for your future videos as I've seen this happen on more than one of your current videos. It would be awesome if you actually start these videos explaining the most basic things of these devices before you get into beat making. For example: Start by explaining the input/outputs and what you've connected and where. You tend to jump in immediately into making a beat and call it an introduction, but you fail to explain some of the basics of the devices. It's like explaining any basic process. 1. Hardware 2. Connections 3. Let's make a beat! Simple, yet effective. I watch your videos and tend to stop 2 minutes in as I'm already lost and move on to someone else.

Looks like a pretty nifty sequencer and good use of the screen and parameter hud. The constant delay running through out was a bit much for me though as it muddied exactly what the sequencer was doing. Would be nice to hear it clearly. Oh and mixolydian isn't a minor type scale. It's a major with a flat 7. :)

Nice to see more midi sequencing hardware coming out. This one looks great. Btw does this allow for storing presets and later recall them from Bank/PC? And if so does it also stores any live tweaking parameters within the selected preset? (I haven't got time yet to see the full video maybe you explaing it later on... anyway i will when i get home) :) Thanks
