Hello Guys,
So I had a few questions on my last stream about how to make this kind of generative stuff in VCV Rack, so here we go! Hope you enjoy!

    Dude I am so appreciative. I couldn't even find a place to get started. I had to mimic a lot of what you were doing at first just to get plugs etc but then it started to make some sense. Thanks again I had given up till I found this video.

  • @DashGlitch

    In this patch I used the square from Even VCO to sync the Bogaudio VCO - that seemed to reset phase position - some of the modules don't actually reset tho, this is the one I found that was able to

    You ca save this audio in MP3 or Wav?

  • @rhinoskin7550
    @rhinoskin755011 ай бұрын

    Lol maybe a noob question but how do you record audio from a VCV rack generated sequence..? I thought it would be straight forward but I open an instrument track in Cubase 12 and no audio is recorded even tho the instrument is playing sound.. I am looking around on google, YT, and GPT, they all say to change the routing but I can't figure out how to route it to a separate audio track.

  • @DashGlitch

    @DashGlitch

    add group, route group to audio track - it's the stupidest workaround, but that's what cubase is full of lol

  • @rhinoskin7550

    @DashGlitch thank you! Haha it took almost half a day to figure it out.. I thought it was the most basic task for cubase 🤣. Apparently not.. one guy on the Steinberg forum described the task as exotic haha.

  • @DashGlitch

    @DashGlitch

    @@rhinoskin7550 Sure, recording audio is an "exotic" task for a DAW, that's pretty funny XD But these are some of the reasons why I left Cubase, because even the most basic tasks are a hassle

    Changing your sample rate (latency) should help.

    It is not the sample rate, it is the frame rate that is causing the problem, lower it to 10 hz and you are good to go
