I AGREE....why does an Indian feel that complex that Holywood supercedes Indian cinema???, its the inferiority complex that the English left in the psyche of Asian people....Yusuf Khan/Dilip Kumar is the epitome of acting, he had no motivation to leave his turf....

The greatest star legend of Indian cinema, Dilip Kumar. Mesmerising indeed

His acting is on whole another level but depth of his thought in his interviews shows he is the best man ever to be an actor. I became fan after watching and listening to his interviews and then saw his famous movies like ganga jamuna and devdas.

No words enough to describe the greatness of Yusuf Saheb. Only if he had made Devdas ( or Shaheed or Ram Aur Shyam ..........) he would be IMMORTAL ! Jewel of India indeed.

I am a fan of Dilip Kumar's acting and had the good fortune of meeting him also. I understand some Urdu also. I wish he had used more Hindi in his interviews and not so much Urdu. Indian public gave him so much love but he always used innumerable Urdu words during interviews and stage shows, that most Indian people cannot understand. Urdu is just another language and we also know that he spoke fluent Hindi.
