Ashley nurtured and built Ahsoka up to the amazing character that she now is in Star Wars. Ashley: "I will always celebrate anything Ahsoka." Reading between her unspoken lines: Of course, I would have liked to have been the live-action Ahsoka as well.

Good get and very good interview, Jack. Let's be honest, Ahsoka was a MUCH juicier role than Padme from the very start. Dave Filoni purposely wrote her to be annoying in the beginning so that there would be a solid character arc of her growth. We now know just how well that worked out as she is beloved due to the writing and Ashley's performance. She is so sweet and down to Earth. I hope to see or hear more of her in the future.

How awesome you got to interview her! I didn't know about Ahsoka Tano until The Mandalorian and it's taken me all the way back to catch up on the entire Clone Wars series. And just like when she stepped on screen in Mandalorian, I loved that character the moment she stepped out. She came recommended to Anakin by Mace, Yoda, and Plo Koon?? I knew she'd be special.

I used a service called GalaxyCon. They do a lot of these digital meet and greets. As for my subs, I hope to keep reaching a larger audience. The more people watching, the more interviews I can do.

Ashoka is NOW Ashley AND Rosario not ONE person. What’s funny about this debate! Ashley is only the VOICE of Ashoka. Rosario is the physical and voice of Ashoka.. People are in love with a voice with Ashley . People are in love with the full character with Rosario.

Yes, Mark Hamil best voice of Joker, Heath Ledger is the best live action Joker. Rosario Dawson is Live action Ahsoka, Ashley is cartoon version. Simple.

Another great video Jack! Ashoka is definitely one of my favorite character arcs in Star Wars.

Just wanted to tell Ashley I was glad she enjoyed my AHSOKA story ... and now I've written a prequel and a sequel - both of which are in progress.

Awesome Video Jack May The Force Be With You

I cannot imagine for the life of me why Ashley was not cast in the live-action role, and would contend that it takes more talent for an actor/actress to be able to convey emotion with just his or her voice, without facial expressions and/or physical gestures. While I have no issue with Rosario Dawson, and this is no way a criticism of her abilities, IMO it should have been Ashley Eckstein. If nothing else, they should have at least asked her if she was interested, and tested her for the role. To my knowledge, they did neither. While I think very highly of Dave Filoni and his work, it was not right to ignore the actress responsible for making the character so popular and universally beloved among Star Wars fans from a chance of playing her live-action.

@@aokorodu So you thought Ahsoka was so popular because of her looks? Well, follow the ratings in future, it will show you the difference of soul (directly affecting acting) and cosplay. And that cosplay was extremely bad. Ashley looks like Ahsoka from Rebels without any makeup.

@Writer B.L. Alley The work of an actor is still all the little things that are not spelled out in the script and which the director does not deal with. These little things define the character no less, and sometimes even more, than the general line of the script. Rosario may play Ahsoka, but Ashley must be on set as the character in charge. The details of the character's behavior were to be determined by Ashley.
