Jun Tzu is from Sun Tzu the art of war book which he just changed the s. And the way he says hes not like his Da is because his da was a UVF bomber and hence very one sided whereas he avoids taking sides and promotes mutal understanding.

Very well analysed Drew. I'm from the North, Jun Tzu is a Protestant from Belfast but his music is neutral and he even has Uileean pipes and tin whistles in his tracks

Hes not talking about himself , hes referring to jonny 'mad dog' Adairs son also called jonny Adair. Mad dog was the leader of the notorious UFF c company. He was locked up but released under the good Friday agreement.

If you haven't covered the song Sorry Mummy by this same man. Its another one but its about his father. oh also if you want to learn about the troubles from a good centrist source. A Pocket History of Ulster by Brian Barton is a great resource only picked it up because my Granny had it & because he's my Uncle a great Centrist source as he doesn't take a side & just says them from the centre which isn't unbiased but the closest you can ever get.

The reason he's on the Irish side is because when he moved to Manchester in England everybody thought he was Irish not British.

No, he first started out in the TARTAN GANG. Did some stuff like petrol bombing people's houses, and things like that and got locked up. Just before his release he got the word out that he wanted to join the U.V.F. They got back to him and said are you sure, he said yes, they did a oath and swore in. They did pipe bombing classes, among many other things while in prison. Once he got out, he was a member, made pipe bombs, was shot at by the I.R.A while in a restaurant with his girlfriend. They ditched out the back door. One of his own bombs accidentally went off next to him. Many things.H e did follow his dad's path. He was sentenced to 48 years, had to do a minimum 12. While in prison, he was struggling with getting himself on the right path and become a Christian. Ended up going to rap, then supposedly became a Pastor. The last thing I heard. A few generations back, I would have been born there. Pack's, Saul's, and Conley clan was from Northern Ireland. Conley-Armagh, Pack's and Saul's from Armagh, Belfast, and Wigstowshire Scotland. Although you might not have been born there, these are still your blood, your people and yes it's personal! Totally understand. I do have two families way back, McDaniel, and McKinney that are in the Republic Of Ireland, or just Ireland. Kerry and one other. So me being mixed blood and if I moved there, I'd end up having to pick a side! Since I have a lot of Great Britain, or Ulster in me, I'd stay on their side of town. Anyhow that's that.🇬🇧

You’d not have to pick a side. No one would see you as belonging to either side. Even people from the republic can live in loyalist neighbourhoods in Belfast without issue.
