Spoiler: Magical illusion is fun, so don't spoil it. Only read on if you are curious on how it works. 0:49 - keep you eye on the envelope in his hand. The envelope is made so it opens through a 2nd opening on the top. While he puts his hands behind his back a few times, it's being pushed up into his sleeves, where he has a special compartment to keep it safe. All very well made. Possibly already inside the plastic bag. 0:59 the iPhone is clearly no longer in the envelope. The way he moves it, it's clearly has no more weight and it looks a lot flatter. 2:48: The honeydew melon has been sliced at the very bottom to fit an iPhone inside. While reaching into the bag, he slides the phone from his sleeves inside the bottom of the honeydew melon. Either while his hands were in the bag he managed to quickly slide it inside the plastic bag while pushing it inside the melon or as mention, the plastic bag was already inside his sleeve. 3:00 He clearly holds the melon with the full palm of his hand at the bottom, to cover the hole where he just slid the iPhone in and also to keep it from dripping. Also on the chair he makes sure to turn that side away from the camera and audience and keeps his hand at the bottom where the hole is.

Whenever you see a magician's hands go behind him, he's done something.

so twitch puts the iphone through the honedew in the bag 0:41 and there was a hole in the honedew cuz annoyign whiteboy was covering that hole the whole time 2:50 and notice how when he puts it away, he puts the half of the honeydew that has the hole in it into the bag, and the other half that doesn't have the hole is on the floor cuz it doesn't need to be hidden edit: to know how any magician does his trick, just don't focus on the distractions they make, and look where they don't want you to look

The trick was a little bit sloppy in my opinion,too much variables and hand movement from him

The trick is so easy to spot. If you pause the video at 1:59, you can see the exact moment he stops time so he can walk out to the nearest fruit vendor to steal a melon. Because time is in a current state of stasis, he is able to phase the phone through the melon. The zip bloc bag is self explanatory. For those who didn't guess, he had it in his pocket the whole time!

2:50 while his hand is in the bag he pushes Twitch's iPhone inside the melon. Notice afterwards how he holds the melon with one hand and keeps that spot on the melon covered the entire time (even when he cuts the melon in half and shows the phone). That's because there's a hole in the melon there. Plus, he instantly hides the half of the melon with the whole in it by putting it back in the bag after taking the phone out of the melon.

Some people here are acting like he's a bad magician because he didn't perform real magic, or because the trick was too simple once you realized what's actually going on. Let's get two things straight: 1. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS REAL MAGIC; IT'S ALL ILLUSION, and 2. The vast majority of illusions that don't involve some kind of complex apparatus on a stage are quite simple but rely on sleight of hand and plenty of distractions to pull off without anyone noticing. That's the necessary skill to be a magician. Come up with a super complex approach to make sure no one could ever guess it, and the first thing a practiced magician would tell you is to keep it simple. The more simple the trick, the more you can concentrate on the important parts, like not fucking it up and keeping people distracted and entertained. Not like it's an amazing trick or anything, but just saying, that's how "magic" works.

It was obvious the iphone isnt in the blender. If the phone was blended, it would most have smoke released from the battery...

At the beginning of the trick he diverges everyone's attention to the decoy phone he throws on the floor. Meanwhile he hides twitch's phone up his sleeve and replaces it with a decoy from his back pocket. When he puts his hand inside the bag to pull out the melon, he maneuvers the phone out from his sleeve and pops it into the bottom of the melon which is prepared with a hole in the bottom. If you pay a little attention to how he is handling the melon, he never lets go of the bottom of it, not even once. He even holds the bottom of the melon while he is cutting it in half. After the trick he even hides the bottom of the melon back into the bag so that no one will notice the hole in it. Any 3 year old could figure this trick out, come on guys.

Regardless of how he swaps the envelopes, he gets the phone into the melon through a hole in the "butt" while he is rummaging through the bag at 2:47. Once he pulls the melon out, his left hand never leaves the "butt" of the melon where the hole is until he hands Twitch the phone and puts the "butt" of the melon in the bag at 3:52. Why would he take the time to put it in the bag and not on the floor with the other stuff?!

Clearly there's 2 phones

Melon has a hole on the bottom, that's why he kept holding it right there and didn't show all of it to the crowd.

He throws the case on the ground , at the same time he used psychokinesis to get the phone inside the melon Sorry but it's tooo obvious

He obviously put the phone in his jacket and then took it out and put it in a already open hole where his left hand was on the honey dew. Notice he never moved his left hand

Explanation: 0:41 Twitch puts his phone in the bag, the phone that the magician got first is a decoy of course. 2:47 When the magician puts his hand into the bag he pushes the iPhone in the melon (through a hole just big enough for the phone) and as you can see during the whole time he has the melon in his possession, he is holding his hand at the exact same spot to cover up the hole where the phone was inserted to. So basically Twitch was on it unfortunately, but this trick could be performed without needing a assistant.

Imagine today's magicians going back say a couple of thousand of years. They would be gods :)

+Intense_Friction I think it is just a phone preplanted in the honeydew from the very start. The trick is making the iphone twitch gave him disappear without us noticing and having another one already in the honeydew. That why around 0:55 he puts the envelope with the iphone behind his back. Its a special envelope that lets it slide out into his palm instead of staying in the envelope.

I really miss this show. I really miss it being on it was always great.

Huge mistake a lot of people are thinking about: Twitch putting the iPhone in the melon at 0:41 If you check 0:49, the guy keeps his hand under pouch the entire time, and at 0:54 he puts his hand behind his back, sliding the iPhone from the opening underneath the pouch (hence needing to put his hand under the pouch) while distracting the audience with the metal piece he throws. No regular person would put their hand behind their back awkwardly like that, and it's a common magician tactic to distract you from what they don't want you to see. The honeydew is obvious, as he has his hand over the hole the entire time and he even puts the half with the hole into the bag at 3:54 and 3:57

Twitches face was hilarious when he thought his phone was blended

0:54 is when he makes the envelope switch behind his back. The new envelope has nothing in it and you can clearly see from multiple angles that the new envelope is paper thin and the previous one was not. You can also tell he was slapping the phone on the bench to distract anyone from watching that envelope. Not to mention he had to take the case off because the dupe iphone that's already in the honeydew is not his actual phone.

Oh, for all of you that didn't know, Twitch was told to say "Yes this is my phone", the one that the "magician" threw on the ground saying "this is fake" was Twitch's phone.

Yeah I saw that too, look weird. Bur how did the phone get into the water melon? That must have been pre staged

+Adonis Amarante He put the phone from his sleeve into the melon when he was taking the melon out of the bag. There's a little cut in the melon we couldn't see
