That's part of the trick. The card in his hand changes into a card that came from that box! Amazing! :D

Knowing how these tricks are done does nothing to spoil my enjoyment of watching them be done. If anything it improves it because I know what to look for and I STILL don’t see it. It’s like “running”. We can all “run” but when we watch Usain Bolt break a world record we all know we could never do it. To me it’s like that - watching the best in the world take what we all have done to a level that most of us will never do. It looks effortless, but we know it isn’t. Magic !

I am 58 and have severe arthritis. I always loved magic and thought I would try this after about 3 hours of practice I have it down allot better than I could ever imagine. I love the tutorials and this one is dope!!! Chris Ramsay taught me hat word.

I really enjoy watching magic but I don't perform it at all. I was having thoughts of skipping this video because I don't want to know how the trick is done. However, I suddenly found myself reaching out for a deck of cards and trying it out myself :) I'm glad that knowing how it's done didn't ruined the magic for me, on the contrary, I got to appreciate it even more :D

@@thinker6445 That is the point, a very good magician let it look very easy. You should better say: the trick is very simple, but not easy to perform right.

Sweet that Semjon went to the trouble to develop this from just a brief description in a classic, just has such a all around posh feel to it❣️

i wish there was another angle when you used your thumb to bring the card up and when you palmed the card around the deck.

I was practicing this while watching the video. I realized, the skin on my fingers was too dry. Making it hard to make the change because my thumb kept slipping off the card too easily. So, if your skin is too dry it may not work. Thanks for this video. Now, I have a trick I can practice while quarantined. Yay!
