The best International Feature oscar went to the Holocaust drama “The Zone of Interest”.
Jewish Director Jonathan Glazer made an impassioned speech - noting the co-opting of Jewish identity and despicable weaponisation of the Holocaust by Israeli government spokespeople and pro-Israeli speakers and media globally.
Just as Yad Vashem criticised the UN Israeli Ambassador as disgracing Israel and the memory of the Holocaust for walking into the UN wearing a gold Jewish star.
Ceasefire now and respect the memory of those who died in the Holocaust and protect the definition of true antisemitism rather than using it as a political tool.
Quite rightly called out on the cultural world stage.
