In the beginning, he mentions a "genuine Frankenstein...I made a monster." Frankenstein's monster was made of various body parts from different corpses; here, Ren has stitched together different flows to make one "monster" of a song. That was my first reaction. I think The Hunger is describing his need to create, and to share his creations. Please keep trying to figure out Ren!

That is a logical interpretation. I think that deeper analysis would not only destroy the enjoyment, but, probably, be wrong, anyway.

Produces his own beats, sings, raps, beatboxes; stitches together eight different flows into a 2-1/2 minute Frankenstein of a song -- it's all about the flex. :D
Ren has all the flows 😂 He is a master wordsmith and does it all with so much personality. In the production too with all the little noises he makes and the beatboxing. He pours his creative soul into everything he does.
A Helter Skelter, is an old British fair ground ride. It's basically, something that looks like an old lighthouse, with a slide that spirals around the outside, from the top to the bottom. Loads of vid of one on YT 😊

The comment on Mozart is very apt, I am an English classical music nut really, Ren uses harmonic progressions and strange juxtapositions in the same way even though it sounds nothing alike. Ren's does things in his genres as Mozart did -Mozart called them his "happy freaks" like the masterpiece he wrote for piano and wind instruments and writing a song for operatic soprano piano and orchestra blending the genres of opera and symphonic music as Ren does with Rap and Rock, blues, "folk"etc etc -I can't believe I am saying this! I am coming to believe he is a talent on that level -as Beethoven said I don't want to be a third rate Mozart I want to be a first rate Beethoven!

This is my fave Ren track just because of what a monster it really is. Over a dozen flows in 2.5 minutes, master wordplay, every flow leading into the next, and his diction is so clean. Its going to take something really extra to topple it. What I think is that Ren is just showing off and having a good time. He throws in bits about himself, his social philosophy, where he came from, and what he's doing: "slowing the flow, growing the flow, swallow the flow like a Toblerone." 😸
Had to say a Toblerone is nothing like a snickers.
Great reactions! Really interesting that you pointed out the Lord of the flies reference, on Ren´s webpage´s "Patient report" it says that during his psychotic episodes he had hallucinations including figures in animal masks which seem to have an Orwellian origin due to his affinity for dystopian literature. So most certainly you're on to something there. Keep on the great work, I´d love to see you react to more Ren!
They found the wheelchair from Hi Ren here 😁 waste ground in Brighton.
Bars.."mastered every level, I am a vessel".. Ren has mastered every level it sure seems!🤔😎👍😁❤
I know he likes Animal Farm alot..maybe there are some references to that... In his live Twitch stream someone asked him what the pig mask, that keeps occurring in his music videos, means...and he said he likes to leave that open to people's own interpretation.. I like your views on what you think this video means😊 Great work
Hint: Ren has stated previously that he really liked the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. Though I don’t think that is the prevailing theme of this particular song. Great reaction, and love how you close your video! 😊

I’ve seen reaction videos that they will watch more of the video itself for the creativity and catch what they can during, maybe stop and rewind to catch a good part. I’ve seen a few skim the words after to then be reminded them what they heard and didn’t hear. But… I love what your doing, so keep it up! Most his songs he’s not rapping that fast. Like with the Big Push, when he sings with Chinchilla and in Jenny/Screech. (no captions needed)

Hltr skltr resonates most loudly in the USA. For others, it’s just a fairground ride that makes you dizzy. There goes Ren, educating. You now know about Toblerone.😊
Really cool reaction - this is what Ren likes, doesn't like to tell you his meaning but let the viewer/listener attribute their take on it, he watches reactors and likes to see if they pick up what he is putting in

I truly don't know but the Frankenstein (who was pieced together) with all the flow changes, combined with his illness. I also think he was also just showing everyone he could throw out a banger with tons of flows over a steady track that was not an easy track. I did like your thought about the various masks in Ill'est because he has vague easter eggs in his tracks and videos. I think at this point he's just doing whatever because he can do whatever.
I think you should react to Diazapam for a completely different side of Ren, and Love Music part 3, for still another side of Ren. Ren is an planet sized onion, his layers are deeper than the Mariana Trench. 😊
How many types of flow has he mastered? All of them! 🤣
I wouldn't go into understanding the song as a "single literal meaning" (As, p.e. "Hi Ren", "The 3 tales", "How to be me", etc...) This song is more a condensed way to express that he has very ouystanding rapping skills and has a lot of fun while singing/writting/producing songs like this one. (btw...one of my favorites)👍👍 Main meaning then... He is a hell of an artist.
Hmm, very interesting take . Loved your catches on the LotF tie-ins. I agree, and Ren has a lot of through lines and call backs in his work. He packs so much into each song that sometimes the layers take a while to set in. Great reaction, subbed for more!
I like the Lord of the Flies hypothesis, I didn't think of that. I was leaning towards Ren's penchant towards anti-capitalism, which you'll discover the more you dig into his catalog. For quite some time, the pig, especially in European countries, has represented capital/capitalism/ruling class. I always thought that was based on George Orwell's classic "Animal Farm" and later, the German author Robert Menasse and his best selling novel "The Capital". Come to find out a couple months ago watching a documentary on Orwell, that it's symbolism dates back before the industrial revolution. While pigs have been a food source for humans for over 10k years, up until the industrial revolutions in Europe and the U.S. they were more of a delicacy or for special occasions. With the industrial revolution, came the issue of feeding mass populations, and it was quickly discovered that pigs which were domesticated could be bred a certain way, to gain massive amounts of weight in a very short time. Soon after that many that were pig farmers or bought a pig farm became extremely wealthy, along with the fact, in and around these large pig farms, many got loose, bred with the feral swine and populations got out of control which decimated farmland and wooded areas alike. So apparently the fat pig, wealth and destruction combo eventually became a symbol of capitalism. I feel like I should end my comment with that logo.... The More You Know.....😂😂
I like how his jacket says 'NEW WAVE'
Toblerone is designed to resemble the Swiss Alps. It's a chocolate bar with peaks and troughs. He can swallow a flow no matter how it oscillates. Ties back in with the Wonka bar in yhe beginning.
How could Helter Skelter be censored? It’s a Beatles song first and foremost.

"Don't try to figure out Ren, it's not possible." I think you've finally answered your "Who Is Ren?" question. 😂
#Ren straight 🔥🔥🔥 ❣️
Really good chocolate bar
Honestly try that chocolate. So good.
A Toblerone is not 'like a Snickers bar', lol. :)
I think he is the monster that was created through everything that happened to him in his life, hence all the references to his influences, to rising to his feet in the bleak, to his birth year, etc. But The Hunger came out before Hi Ren, which was then followed by Sick Boi and then The Illest of our time. And all of them are still in the same corner. I claim that you do not know Ren, yet. Will you do one more as a bet? Hm, the traditional one to send you to would be 'How to be me' with Chinchilla. Or go to his Band's page, 'The Big Push', and check out 'Precious'. If neither of those two surprise you, I will call myself defeated. Basically, as I might have said before, the only two constants with Ren are that a) he speaks up for what he believes, and b) you never know what a song might bring! By the way, I tried to get to your GoFundMe, but the link here took me to the general page.
