This is really heartwarming to see! I came to Russia in 2012 and at that point my friends didn't really understand why or where I was going to. People here in Russia were questioning my decision as well, as not many of them could understand why would a person from "the West" come and live here. But time passed and now I see more and more foreigners and Russian-born foreigners coming back and most have very similar reasoning! I'm glad more people appreciate this wonderful country and value everything that it has to offer! Thanks for the interviews and all the best!!

There is interesting phenomena called "двор", "выходи во двор в футбол играть". The Soviet style residential artitecture had squares of 9 story buildings and all kids in that "двор" were like brothers and sisters. I believe that "real friendship" you are describing is coming from that phenomena: you moved in to our "двор", you start playing soccer or hockey with us, so you becoming our brother. (Just hypothesis to investigate by a journalist). I used to live next to Lumumba University and there were many black guys, sons of diplomats and students of that university. In a few months, they start playing soccer with us, learn few swerting words and they became brothers too. No difference, you just scream to the six floor: "Hei Kassim! Are you coming to play?" I guess that sort of similar to Jewish communities in Odessa, where "двор" was you second family. Another theory of mental formation is "agricultural tribe" vs. "family tribe". I. Agricultural tribe - anyone who ready to "plant field with us" is our family. These two things might be the reason of that friendship you are describing.

Thank you for your channel brother. It gives me hopes of moving to russia after the war. When the war started everything become much more difficult, I wish I had moved there before the war started... @programador2000 After the war, the hostility of the West to Russia will not end. The West has set a course for its destruction, so the enmity will probably only increase, so you can not wait. @@user-ib9sw7id9r I agree, the hostility against russia and russians might increase. The west has set its course for SELF-DESTRUCTION. There is no civilization without family, without marriage, without masculine men and feminine women. If I were a russian general, I'd just delay the war against the west like, for 20 years, the west(NATO) will fall by itself. There are NO MEN in the west anymore, and you know, only men fight in wars, women are the minority of front line soldiers. Yeah I am aware of the flight ban, people are going through armenia as well. Feels so unreal that the west is what it is now. It is just like rome before its collapse in 476, but we are like, 10-20 years from it, I can tell. Men in the west specially in europe are not men anymore, with exception of the warsaw pact countries that have resisted feminism and woke ideologies so far.

The different ethnicities that live in Russia have their origins in one of the regions of the same country - Russia. Like, for example, Buriats are native to Buriatia, which is within Russia. And so on. Or nationalities from other former Soviet Republics and live in Russia still feel that they belong. The historic and cultural roots of all these people are with Russia. In the case of the US, different ethnicities have their cultural and historic roots outside the US. Apart from the native Americans. So there's a divide among these communities. That what makes Russians and Americans different.

It is nice to hear your conversion understanding the Cal, FL climates. 40 C. Btw, today (19 of August) is the official Day of Russian “telnyashka” (striped longsleeve)😉 During the II WWar german solders calls our marines as “striped devils” because they were fearless and furious. Viva telnyashka!
