An Execution Gone Wrong: The Terrifying Story of Clemente Apolinar
Clemente Apolinar was the last person publicly hanged in Texas. Not only did his execution go horribly wrong but you won’t BELIEVE what the location is currently being used as. #history #haunted #paranormal

I was a guard at Folsom Prison before the new one was built. Within the same building that houses the original portion, known as 5 BLDG now, is a storage room that was once where they kept the inmates before they were hung. It also housed the gallows. I did not know what that room was when I went in there but afterwards I told a fellow guard that the place gave me the creeps and I felt really uncomfortable in there. Afterwards I learned what it was, made total sense after that. I believe in ghosts a lot more since working there.

"That tight little inbox of yours" 🤣 Fantastic episode!
Take whatever time you need to make the content what you think it should be. We'll be here
I'm not staying at that Holiday Inn either. There's got to be a Best Western somewhere nearby. Chaching!

Thank you sir! Excellent as always 👍🙌
thank you Josh... great as always
great show as always
Clemente was my great great uncle. What the story and history doesn't tell you is that he was a special child before any injuries. The boys were making fun of him because he had a stuttering problem and had the mindset of a 10 year old. He told his mother later that he was wanting to play with them but the were picking on him and throwing rocks at him so he got mad. Too bad they didn't recognize special children as much as they do now.

Yeah, people with disabilities had it very bad in those days for sure. Thank you for the insight, Linda.
You are correct on Howe you pronounce bexar
Very interesting video. I had never heard of this man before. When you mentioned about execution gone wrong, I couldn't help but think of Thomas "Black Jack" Ketchum's execution. Any chance you might do a podcast video on him and his gang someday?

Spoooooky! Next time I’m I need a hotel there, that’s where I’m staying.
Great Halloween Episode!!
Have you done a video on "Black Jack" Ketchum train robber and murderer in northeast New Mexico around the end of the nineteenth century? I'd enjoy hearing your take on Ketchum's demise.

Brutal. If I ever get hung though, I'd rather my head came off than having to hang there slowly choking.
Short, but good
