I have a few tips for you, I will try to group them by category. *FIRE:* • The _Red Moss_ that is found growing on certain trees can be used as tinder for starting fires. • You can use an unloaded _Pistol_ or _Musket_ to start fires if you cannot find any rocks, just cock the hammer and hold it close to the tinder when you pull the trigger, it may require a few tries to get the angle correct. Torches can also be lit this way. • Alternatively, if you don't have a pistol and only one rock, you can also pick up a _Lock_ broken from a chest to strike sparks. • If you have to choose between _Bark Scrap, Red Moss,_ or _Coconuts_ for tinder grab the coconuts. Not only does the husk give you four (4) pieces of tinder, it also provides food and drink that you can use during the night. • You cannot use _Wet Wood or Wet Coconut Husks_ to start a fire, but you can place them on an already burning fire, it will dry then ignite normally. • If it is nearing night and you have access to a supply of _Coconuts_ but cannot find wood, you can start a fire with just husks and continue to add more husks throughout the night, the husk burns quickly so do not add it all at once. The fire will not be very big, but it is better than no fire at all. *FOOD - WATER* • You can poke holes in a _Coconut_ with the _Knife_ instead of cracking it open to ensure that you do not spill any of the liquid inside. • A _Bottle_ holds _multiple coconuts_ worth of liquid, simply poke holes in the coconut and pour it into an open bottle. • _Cooked Meats_ provide the best hunger regeneration, this applies to _Clams_ too even though they can be eaten raw. • You can stab multiple _Fish_ or _Crabs_ on a single _Thin Stick_ while out collecting them for food and cook them all at once. I believe four (4) can reliably fit a stick, make sure to hold it upright or they slide off. • All three (3) _Monster_ (Bat, Dog, Lizard) types can be eaten, after killing them you have to repeatedly stab them with the knife until a piece of meat pops out of them. *WEAPONS* • The _Pistol_ can explode out of your hand if you over fill it with _Black Powder._ It will fly behind you and is easily lost. I believe the _Musket_ does the same, but have not personally tested it. • Both the pistol and musket must be _Dried_ after they get _Wet,_ they will not be able to fire immediately after swimming. They dry over time, but can also be laid next to a fire to dry quicker. Laying them _on the fire_ however will cause them to go off if loaded. • Both firearms only use _One Bullet_ at a time, you cannot load multiple balls to act as a shotgun (the extras will just roll out of the barrel). • The _Powder Flask_ and _Bullet Box_ both eventually run out, but this is easy to manage if you replace them each time you open a chest that has a fresh supply. *GENERAL TIPS* • _Health_ regenerates slowly _over time._ I believe the speed is tied to your thirst and hunger levels, but have not confirmed or not. • You can turn on a _Narrator Voice_ which will give hints occasionally and provide you with warnings when your _Hunger, Thirst,_ or _Heath_ get low.

Habie, just want to share some thoughts I had around the 13 min mark I really enjoy this type of you in videos. You’re very honest and sincere. Your sharing of thoughts on communicating with viewers, checking in on us, the whole “message in a bottle” thing, was really awesome. I’d love to see more of this sort of you in future videos on this channel

The best part of this is the suggestion, at least going by Habie's sounds of exertion, that the game has actually managed to make opening a virtual coconut exactly as difficult, if not more so, as opening a real coconut.

Please please give us more of these sorts of videos 🙏🏻 For those nerds of us that can't catch the livestreams, this is great.

Hey dude, you get to the top of the lookout mointain via the creepy looking crevasse you passed, should be a path that goes uphill on the left then you cross over a log a bit further up the path. Gun holster is in the pirate ship, you get there from the lookout mountain. Other gear like knives, bottles and a bag are unlocked by surviving as many days as possible and will be random loot in chests when unlocked. Also, a torch will keep you safe at night if you don't have a fire going. Fun fact, you can start a fire or torch with your flintlock pistol, just hold the top of the gun close to whatever you want to light (best do that without loading the gun first) And surrounding yourself with fire, like making a big circle or blocking a cave entrance will stop creatures from getting to you. Last note, you're not stupid. it's true that Comodo Dragons do have hemotoxic venom which stops blood from clotting, with the venom gland being in the lower jaw. However, they also cultivate a potent bacteria in their mouths from all the rotting meat that gets jammed in their hooked teeth that cause necrosis in their victim which is probably what that other guy was talking about. Either way you're both only half correct xD Looking forward to the next video! :D

Great video as always, just fyi you only need two pieces of wood for an effective fire, and any wood type will last the whole night if you light it right before sundown. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Yes and no. They have a hemotoxic venom glad in their lower jaw, but yes the bacteria buildup from all the rotting meat does cause necrosis as well

Working while listening and glancing. Kinda just like im hanging out while you play, something im missing IRL. VR is damn cool.

Im not sure if this game models this, but when loading a gun like that, after you put the bullet in you have to use a ramrod to compress the powder and ball. Also, you would have to put a bit of pouder on the thing just in front of the hammer (the frisen) so when the hammer creates a spark it lights that powder (you'd have to lift the metal tab, put powder under it then close it), then the flame travels through a tiny hole in the chamber to light the rest of the powder.

I am very interested in this game. pls play more :)
