I'm struck by the love David has in his eyes for Nic in every video I've seen of them. I just finished the "Beautiful Boy" book and am now reading "Tweak. I'm grateful to be clean since 12.17.17!! 💘

This is so informative, I really wish people wouldn’t look down on addicts like they do. It is not all black and white there are multiple levels of reasons for their addiction.

As a former smoker, I know I am no better than a drug addict. My drug was legal and did not impair cognitive function but it was destructive to me those around me and the environment. I would lie to smoke. I would sneak a smoke. I preferred cigarettes to people.
