One of my favorite parts is when he's going through the fight tale and he just gets all disappointed. He went from Pirate to Dad in 2 seconds and it was amazing

The Tornado coming by for his funeral always gets me.

As a person who goes sailing every year... singing sea shanties until the sun rises and my voice gives out is genuinely a thing that happens regularly. I'm also suprised Brennan knows some good classic shanties apart from the generic Drunken Sailor xd

There is nothing even remotely good about him. Being cool is not the same as being good. And loving your son is not being good either, because Bill loves for his son is just an extension of his desire to be cool and a leave a cool impact on the world, without actual concern for how the son feels.

lord buss While during the first season he is for sure a chaotic evil, during the last section and especially season 2 he genuinely loves his son and cares for his emotional growth (cuz when in s1 he often wishes Fabian to be traditionally masculine, although by s2 appreciates his blanket-dancing Elven side). He is literally slaughtering the devils of the nine hells, which is incredibly chaotic evil, but also will cause chaos on the side of (semi) good (getting rid of the pirate king). By season 2, at least, he is more loving towards his son and doesn’t force him to be his perfect replica. Yes, being cool is not being good, but he does have some genuinely good moments.

Chaotic evil for sure, and at the same time he understands the value of people under his command, and he instills that in the team as he teaches them proper combat formations to protect their damn healers (which granted, they ignore the teachings until at least Unsleeping City)

Bill Seacaster is legitimately one of my favorite fictional characters and his back and forth with Fabian is second to none. Lou’s “Papa!” always gets me

I love his critique of the battle tactics. Especially his surprise at "Your healer has been getting knocked out a lot.". Protect the healer it adventuring 101.

The tornado was at my 3rd birthday party I'm high rn and that's the funniest thing I've ever heard

The one thing I love about Bill is that he’s still culturally sensitive. When Fig corrects him about gender roles, adding in “and women” to his point, Bill legitimately apologizes for his sexism, and corrects himself. Of course, he then immediately goes to threats of death and violence, but that’s less of a gender role thing and more of a pirate deal.

I mean, this entire evening is a great objective lesson in D&D fight mechanics, Brennan playing a seasoned fighter that the party loves and he uses it to teach some of his less experienced players about how to conduct themselves in a fight. Go in with a clear objective, communicate, adapt, and overcome all while not talking down to them and presenting it in an entertaining way. The hat's off to this man

Bill Seacaster is what made me watch this show tbh

I put off watching Fantasy High for so long thinking "Eh I really just want high fantasy and the school setting doesn't really appeal to me" and how foolishly foolish I was. Bill Seacaster was just one of my favorite characters of all time in any form of media (And Lou's improv with Bill just... what an incredible delight). Dungeons and Drag queens got me hooked.

The fuckin tornado bit genuinely cracked me up

Speaking of pirates. My partner, friends and I are playing the Dragon heist campaign in waterdeep. I'm a tiefling bard (was inspired from Emily's tiefling, except I'm more of an enthusiastic geeky "this one time at band camp" type of bard lol. Anyhow we were trying to track down some gnome and a submarine, and I saw a bunch of bandits on a ruined ship in the slums of the town who I think were pretending to be pirates. I walked up onto the deck playing a shanty and said I wanted to hire them to keep an eye on the place nearby and send word to the Yawning Portal when they saw the gnome or someone else return. My performance and persuasion was so good that I successfully hired them. And have them 10 gold for their services. That was also because I knew they could be there to fight us so I was like screw it... They are gonna be working for me!! Then the second time we went back to find the gnome and search for the Stone of Galore (which I now currently have and it is super annoying. I argue with it all the time rofl), I headed up to the ship again and they admitted they had been hired to take us on. So I was like "yeah you don't want to do that. It'll be more fun to take them on for us. And I'll pay you again." So I sang them another shanty "yo ho, a pirate's life for me" and then we all swung down to fight the - what turned out to be - bigger gnarlier bandits. And it was then that I realised we could have just shot arrows from above on the ruined ship. But no, I had to make an entrance swinging down on the rope!! Well one of the much bigger, stronger enemy bandits killed one of my men in one go. So I panicked and... Not wanting to have them to die... I used my cli lyre to cast wind wall. Only I thought I would only hit the enemy on their square: I ended up killing my own men, along with the enemy in one turn lol. Knowing i just killed half of my men I hired from the ruined ship above, I screamed out "no how could you!?", and started playing a song of anguish and torment that the "enemy" killed my newly found pirate friends. The Pirate/bandits on top of the ruined ship all cheered at me, jeered at the enemies, and cried along with me. And so I successfully lied and avoided the rest of the pirate crew coming to kill me for Vengeance 😂🤣 But I did also waste 10 or 20 gold as well when I hired the bandits and then just you know, killed them. -_- such is the way of D&D. Lol

I hope Bill Seacaster is the leader of Leviathan.
