When you have small containers they do dry out quickly. The helpful garden amendment is to add polymers - they look like tapioca and when they get wet they swell up like a jello almost but when mixed into our soil on a small potting environment or larger, they release water all the time and its is an amazing help to keeping flowers alive as the weather accepts the warmth the sun kisses earth with. They are white little balls tiny and come in a plastic obtained. Easy to use and truly worth acquainting yourselves with. I shall stock my shed as we speak - so off to add to my TO DO LIST on Seedtime gardening site where I journal and keep track of my gardening life.

Lovely new plants! I haven't bought anything yet (not counting my flat of pansies but that was last month). We have the local plant sale next weekend so I'm waiting until then tto see what I can get for cheap. I need impatiens and begonias.

I grew the double orchid last year and this year Valentine and a blue in double. They smell so sweet on hot days. I hang them around and in pots and it wafts through the air. The planter will look great! I think I will tuck a few coleus in tomorrow 😉. I can’t believe how advanced your plants are from mine-your area must be a lot warmer than I thought. Our berries are blooming and just starting the fruit.

How are all your plants so far along already? They look amazing. We have had a really cold wet spring. Only one day so far reaching 72. Mostly its 40's at night and 50's during the day. A couple of days in the 60's but few and far between. All my flowers and veggies are still really small and most I haven't even planted yet. I can't believe your harvesting strawberries. Your peas are two or three times bigger than mine too. Amazing! When are you putting out your warm season veggies? Great video so peaceful Roxana:)

I am already in the middle of planting all my warm veggies... that takes me a bit of time! Yes, we have had a very warm and rainy spring here so my plants are thriving. I am so happy about those strawberries, they took off.

Every corner so full of color. I love your garden!
