G'day Stu the 'southpaw'. Awesome shooting, as have come to expect from you cobber. I'm recently back from northern WA wheat-belt. We got 15 between the 3 of us, using my mates HikMicro Lynx Pro 10 mono. I thought it so good (I had a very average TK scout FLIR 6 mono) I just went and bought the 25 model - awesome.

Long time viewer (other account anyway), we could sure use you and your mates at the farm up here in central Qld. Avocado farm and pretty hilly I’m areas, couple of cattle but mainly lots and lots of trees which make spotlighting near impossible. If you ever want to thaw out up north haha

Hi mate, it is a mighty cartridge for what I use it for as all my shooting with it is at night and close in. However, I have heard that it isn't very good out past 100 / 150m. So as a daylight hunting caliber you would be limited so I would recommend say a 308 as it has a great record on medium game with a choice of projectiles as it is a 30 cal.

Great clips Stu, I just wish I could afford a thermal scope, it reminds me of the old Starlight scope a mate had on a L1A1 many many years ago (when it was legal to own one) cheers mate ps the images were not crystal clear like yours though

I remember the starlight scopes on the SLR, ha. Post reticle with a red triangle 🔺️ at the top. It was like looking into a midnight waterfall.

It is an Allen shooting stick mate. I use it mainly for a better video as without the stick I'm videoing all over the place

It is an Allen mate. However there are so many to choose from. I only use it at night as it keeps things still mainly for the camera but also is great just looking around without having to hold the rifle up for long periods.
