how did i get 5 likes???? farmer john loaned us a seed spreader and some farms gave us reject grain and corn,.. so we soaked it with xyz and pdq (yt police) one of the guys told us we had 250 plus pigs it bloats the stomache and pigs cant pass it. we got a sload ferrtilizer laying around. many us farm states have released poisoning bans....

Ring traps are becoming the new norm here for pig control. Game cameras that alert with live feed can stack hogs quite fast. Good hunting my friend.

I’m amazed you’re not stone deaf by now Stu mate. How do you tolerate the muzzle blast like that? Especially when in the kayak below the level of the plain, or in tighter bush.

Actually it isn't that bad as the shooter is behind the blast as it goes forward. A mate standing next to me hears it louder than me.

@@HuntingwithStu I hunt in similar conditions in NZ with a Browning BLR .308 (unsuppressed), it’s the only rifle I own that doesn’t run a suppressor. (Why you guys aren’t allowed suppressors is beyond me.) 90% of the time I wear earplugs and on the odd occasion I’ll forget and it’s ringing ears every time.

Thanks mate, the lever is a 30/30 and the bolt action day rifle is a 30/06. The bolt action night shooter is a 350 Legend.
