There will never be characters like the 1960's /1970's players. Best, Bowles, Worthington, Hudson, Marsh, Osgood etc.

really lovely tribute, so much respect for that 76 Team that should have won the league. they did win it with unbelievsble football. I live near Stan's home in MCR and there's lots of MCFC that follow the 'R's. His team mates are as amazing as the football they played. God Bless you and all at Loftus Road and I hope you are back where you belong soon.

We all remember the skill and goals but surely one of Stan's greatest moments came when he shot the table in Sporting Superstars!! Admit it-you're rolling around laughing at the memory!

So sad to see dave thomas struggling with his eyesight, fantastic winger back in the day. Can still picture those socks round his ankles 👍

What a fantastic player Dave was Electric down the wing Never appreciated at international level even though he was definitely good enough Legends all of them

Dave’s glaucoma has forced him to change his routine but he still maintains his garden, strides through our town and revisits places like LR. He remains a very positive figure and a great bloke to know.

He sounds a very humble bloke, the majority of footballers today could do with taking note.

Was a 13 yr old Leeds fan remember QPR pushing Liverpool all the way and in my shoot magazine - 60 still Leeds Legends who never got the credit stan - Rodney marsh - Tony Currie - Alan Devonshire - Gordon Cowans
