As a Dodger fan, I’m glad Freddie is in the team. He’s a classy player, leader and great mentor to the younger generation coming up through the organization. But I don’t think he’s a Dodger through and through, and that’s okay. LA borrowed him from Atlanta. At heart, he’s a brave until he dies. But that’s not going to negatively affect his effort and intentions in another uniform. I hope both Freeman and Olsen work out in their new homes.

Still have my Henry Aaron scrapbook that I started in 1964 by cutting out newspaper clippings. Last page in the scrapbook is Henry's induction into the Hall of Fame. Met Mr. Aaron in Greenwich, CT shortly after he retired and he was kind enough to look through my scrapbook and sign the page that had the story of his 3,000th hit and the NY Daily News story about breaking Babe Ruth's record.
